T Storm

We knew it was going to rain around 11ish...out at the course...Singing Hills...what we didn't know...was that before that...we were treated (?) to a rock and roll show like I have not been in for some time...thunder and lightning...the wrong thing for golfers...ah, as we were as far away from the club house we could be...egads...for youse who know the Horse well, I am terrified of the stuff...as we chased our way back...thru the lightning...and now...full blast rain...to safety...got in my rig and stormed away...driving right thru the same...finally, I saw some lighter sky, west of the mess...man, it got dark, like all of a sudden...we, golfers, are strange cats...this one, me, is a scary cat...ah, scared cat...

Must bring up the Beavers/Huskies game...as the Vegas Boyz now have OSU fav by 2 1/2 points...listen, if that Washington team is truly number 5 in the nation, THEY should be favored, regardless of the site they play...man, I really want the Beavs to sock it to 'em....as the Laugh In regulars would say...

The NBA...the Warriors bad boy, Draymond Green, got hit with a 5 game suspension...for his latest act of aggression...he just doesn't get it...the 'play in' tourney is so confusing...no idea what is happening...the most over-hyped team in the league...the Lakers, lost at home to the Kings...and sorry, PDX fans, the Blazers are awful...oh yea, and Dame had 37 leading the Bucks to a W....as you say, Dame who?...

BTW, does anyone wear a shirt and tie anymore?...the NBA and the Collegiate coaches used to have that as a must...now, a jogging suit is appropriate...matching, for all the 8 coaches...for the 10 players...they 'coach'...these players are the ones on scholarship...there are more, but are 'walk ons'...never play, but get a great seat at the games...

For Boss's upcoming birthday...I got her an early present...tickets to the Eagles/Steely Dan Concert in Palm Desert...in January...listen, they were not cheap...lordy...BUT...as son Cris informed me last night...many of the leads of the 2 groups are no longer with us...I knew that...but, we are still giddy about the leftovers...just like the TGiving dinner...
