Sunday Morning




Did you turn your clocks back?...c'mon now...is it not very bright out?...there's a reason...let's go...

After a very rainy and shaky start...in a quarter that seemingly went forever...the 1st one...as the Ducks scored 5 times, and only 2 that counted...penalties...right...and then the UO team came alive...big time...and rocked the Bears, 63-19...certainly, not a pretty game...in fact, this could have been the poorest effort of the season...kinda figures, stuck between 2 biggees...as we, and I do mean, we, get to see the Duck/Trojan game next week...alas, since USC lost to the Dawgs...the east coast is not so enamored with them, and the kick off time was just set to...7:30 pm!...10:30 east coast...right, they will be a sleeping...thus, the Horse has a very late game to watch...

Some other games...the Beavs beat Prime...closer than I thought...Clemson upset Notre Dame...Okla St beat Okla...which I didn't see happening...'Bama beat LSU, which I did see...and SDSU lost again...2 OT, and woah be the coach of the Aztecs...ah, NFL...not for long...

Does anyone believe how much this Sec of State Blinken does?...he is everywhere...including not only Israel, but has met with the Palestinians...if there is a chance for peace, he will get it...

This next week ought to be a doozy...as trump goes onto the stand in NYC...and scheduled, is Ivanka on Wednesday...even the fact that the judicial system buries the foo, the forevers just keep on a believing...regardless of what he has done...and WILL do...we do have a mass amount of messed up people in this country...

The Breeders Cup...yup, I won enough to stay...even...too many horses that could win...really tough handicapping...

The other NFL...why on earth they play games in Europe?...where their idea of futbol is much different than ours...the home team gets screwed, losing the patrons...the fans, that is...if they want a team over there...do it, and leave the rest of the schedule...alone...

Can you even fathom being Taylor Swift's agent?...she is hot everywhere possible...every thing she does...is filmed...or pictured...does she have a bad side?...

Have you seen my HC Barney Fife?...rumor has it, he was out dining with the gals brigade of Taylor Swift in Manhattan...and I searched thru the available pics...and did not see him there...he has been really taking advantage of this winning streak...I really do think that he has been chumming along with the Kelce dude...get to work, Barn!...

Suits...yup, THAT show...brought up something that I kinda thought I knew...but really didn't...I was under the assumption that all prisons were either state funded and run...or federally funded and run...ah ha...not so fast my good friends...there are about 7% of all prisons, that are PRIVATELY funded and run...really...CoreCivic Inc, Nashville based company...owns and manages 74 of these prisons...which state has the MOST of these CoreCivic ones?...you got it, Florida...followed by Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, and Georgia...they are very profitable, too...earning over $7.4 Billion bucks a year...hmmm...so, what the heck...the report is that these prisons are far more dangerous than the state or federal ones...one more thing...and there are many more things...the private prisons RECEIVE federal funding....what we DON'T know...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
