It's Like a Box of Chocolates



As the college football ends it's regular season, the teams that may get the votes from the BSBCS, are trying, some in vain, to finish it off on the right foot...er, left foot?...this last year of the Final 4...next it changes...more teams are in it...ah, finally...it is what it is...for now...

For us Duck fans, we play them as they come...ha ha...well, the guys do...and we cheer and hope...take care of yourself...right?...left?...c'mon...and boy, did the Ducks (6) do so in Arizona...State...as Bo Nix threw for SIX TD'S in the FIRST HALF...for some reason, I feared this game...as the Sun Devils just came off a big win versus UCLA...and a close encounter with Washington...the Ducks looked like a million bucks...

The rest of those in contention, it's like choosing one out of a box of chocolates...you never know what you are gonna get...Michigan (3) survived at Maryland on a very critical grounding call, that just MAY have saved them...Georgia (current #1 seed) dominated Tennessee...Ohio St (2) clobbered Minnesnowta...Florida St  (4) lost their QB due to a gruesome injury, but still whupped patsy North Alabama...and then there is Washington (5)...who eeked out a win over the Beavs...22-20, in an absolutely monstrous rainy weather game...a typical PNW night...this should have been played in the afternoon...then, the others...'Bama (8) rolled over Chattanooga...really, that is who they played...Texas (7) in a hard fought one at Iowa St...there you go...

Moving on...

Prez B is working on a 5 day cease fire in the Gaza...rumor mill, has the women and children held hostage are the possible releases...it is a brutal war...call it what you want...but, war as it is, is simply awful...loss of lives that shouldn't happen...

A Costco question...most of you who shop at the place...buy their brand of batteries...do they last as long as the name brands, that they also sell?...in my opinion, as a viable reviewer...they do not...am I right, or left?...

There is this bloke down here...a real Diegan...Sam the Cooking Guy...who has this show, showing him cooking thangs...last nite he did turkey and all the fixings...well, ALL is a misnomer...he did stuffing and brussel sprouts (ew)....along with a turkey breast...and a gravy...listen, dude, this is NOT a turkey dinner...you need mashers...cranberry sauce...green beans...and some rolls...give the episode a 'D'...

Hmmm, this would be like Johnny Carson giving up cigarettes...or Ron White passing on bourbon...same for Dean Martin...or KK giving up men...but, the word is that Snoop Dog is dousing his smoke...ah, weed...marijuana...really?...must be turning to gummies...

BTW, I did watch the entire Dawg/Beav game...and the fact that OSU pretty much had the ball the entire 2nd half and didn't win...is near unfathomable...my one Q...why didn't they run the ball all the time?...the Huskies couldn't stop it...

Are you adjusting to this time thang?...I am not...dark at 5...hate it...I am sleepy at 7...have to do something to keep my eyes open...

So funny...perhaps ironic...there was a short vid at the BYU game...the student section...not only were ALL the gals very white, and blonde...but, a surprise...one of them had a beer in hand...ha ha...OK, now we test the discipline of the school...busted...hey, perhaps she should do like Snoop...hide with them gummies...

I had a very long talk with my HC Barney Fife...as we are behind going into today's games...NFL, dudes...I threatened him that Coach Snooki was awaiting in the wings...thing is, his price is high...and Fife is cheap...not that I am, but it is a factor...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
