Fahrenheidt or Celsius?

Well, actually...cold is cold...32* or 0*...there was a time in the 70's that the USA tried (in vain) to adopt what most of the world used...the Metric System...and right along with it, the Celsius way of telling temperatures...gone...this is the time that we were going to modernize so much...get into the world of tens...didn't go over...the people wanted the inch...the itch for the inch...of course, the masses have no idea how to add, subtract, multiply, or divide the fractions...still don't...but doggone, it, 'we like our own system of measuring'...'and we would have to refigure our football fields, and that won't happen'...so be it...

It was cold last nite in Eugene...Autzen Stadium, where it again, never rains...as the Ducks prevailed...they were the best team....dominated it...in an odd way...as the Beavers took away the deep stuff...so, Nix and the O, played underneath...and whittled the OSU game plan away...took time off the clock and meandered down the yards filled field...only once, did the high powered O get going, at the end of the 2nd stanza...

The Ducks are good my friends...real good...their D is dramatically improved...and now, fly out to Vegas to play the Dawgs...for the last PAC 12 Title and probably...maybe...a spot in the Final 4...whoever wins that matchup...SHOULD be in...BUT, it is people in a room doing the voting...so one never really knows...

BTW, I mentioned OSU HC, Jonathan Smith, as a possible coach for some available spots, that have more $ to give...thought it might be the SEC, but in fact, it is the Big 16...Michigan State...another rebuilding project...which this guy is capable of...stay tuned...

The real war...

Hostages are indeed being exchanged during the 4 day truce in Gaza...nothing like getting your loved ones back...from almost certain death...if you must have war...do it with soldiers vs soldiers...guess it can't be like that...

I ordered a book about...Fascism...to better understand the meaning and the what for's...it goes back to a very interesting time in the country...a hundred years ago...that actually simulate what is going on now...the eeriness of it all...of course, the main ingredient, is those who want to be in power...
