On the Beach

The Cosmo trip has begun...we have squatted in LA, baby...on the beach...the weather is simply gorgeous...mid 70’s...and total sun...don’t hate me cuz I’m here, and you are not...having a cup of Joe and peaking at the Pacific...

We took a dusk walk on the beach last eve, and got some terrific pix...bebopped over to a tavern across the way, for some munchies and refreshments...this entire excursion is supposed to be laid back...we shall see...

Did not say squat about them Bums...I am in enemy territory...as they got swept by the DBacks...

Boss just called me...”you are old now”...well, guess again sister...we all are...

Israel is prepping for a monstrous ground attack...I wish there was another way...life is precious...this is lost now...

Are you all just giddy?...Taylor Swift will be in Denver for the KC game tonight...let’s play a drinking game...every time they show her, we take a shot...take a Lyft home...cuz, well, you know...

The House ‘secret’ committee selected Scalise as their nominee for Speaker...oh my, the choices they have are dreadful...Boebert and MTG oppose him...of course they do...

We are in LA one more night...you do know the Horse needs some color...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
