In the Still of the Nite

We are 3 hours behind where the country gets most of their news...er, our news...the east coast...and when the Horse arrises at 5 am, the teletype is already buzzing...used to be the AP, the Associated Press, that fed so much out...now, I am not sure...the web net is vast and virtually unprotected...so, we are not sure what is fact or fiction...right?...but, they have it somewhere...'they' meaning the web...X, perhaps, the newbie, Threads...are the fastest...at least as far as I can see, or read...

If it is bad enough, the tele, er pixels, has it as BREAKING NEWS...and Lordy, the CNN has that flash way too often...perhaps, LATEST NEWS, would be more appropriate...thing is, the web covers more ground...how many peeps are at the control there?...ah, in the fast web pages?...has to be a bundle...

Does it ever cross your mind, how much do these guest commentators get for their time...giving their angle to what's going on in the political arena?...some of these characters are on a very lot...like every day...it has to be monetarily advantageous...right?...they have to pay more, for the MAGA dudes...cuz they are gonna get hit from all sides...

How's the gag order going for trump?...has he ungagged yet?...he is still walking freely outside and inside the court room...love his constant line, if there was a jury he would be found innocent...ah, ha, his attorneys didn't check that box...too bad, donny...you have a one person jury, the judge, you are at the mercy of...'mercy of the court'...listen trump, you should be watching Suits...for an insight on prison life...

OK, then...

The DBacks won their mini-series and move on to face the Bums...ah ha, yes...this is where the LA group fumbled last season, right?...deja vu...but, it is Zona this time...still, they have the worst uni's in baseball...

The golfing world won't let the Ryder Cup go...who cares if someone walked in your path, Rory...you won...give it up...so much for the gentleman's game...

Did you know that Titus Welliver (Bosch) is also in Suits?...make that was...and until they revive the series, well, if they do...it is was...so be it...

Could you last 34 days in Survivor?...I got to say, the Horse could last 5-7 days...no mas...how about you?...

Boss and I are about to go on a Cosmo Trip...a long one...here is the thing...the food...we are thinking about the prepared meals at Costco, Whole Foods, and Vons (Safeway, for you northerners)...not the frozen ones...any of you had them?...what is your review?...

Got a call, in the still of the night, from my FF HC Barney Fife...said he couldn't sleep, as we were 30 point dogs for this weeks game...no worries, BF...let's lose with class...

'In the Still of the Nite' is an all time Horse fav...probably in my top 10 ever...The Five Satins...a Connecticut group that started as 6...Fred Parris was the lead...and the song was spelled with Nite, rather than Night, due to the Hoagy Carmichael  song of the same title...in 1937...this one was 1956...er, thereabouts...AND, did you know this was the B side of the 45?...you may have fallen in love with this song, in the flick...'American Graffiti'...a revival of the songs from that era...one of my top 10 movies, ever, too...
