It all went down...ah, well, Aaron Rodgers did...in the 1st series of the game...as the 'new' look NY Jets took a big hit...POOF!...just like that, Rodgers was out...ankle injury was the immediate diagnosis...closer look, showed it was probably...the achilles...the most fragile tendon for all athletes...it was a disaster, for the 80,000+ fans in New Jersey...silence went the crowd...and, even, Peyton Manning, predicted a loss thereafter...wait, kids...this team is more than 1 guy...a terrific D...and the Jets beat the Bills in OT...

This is how one would read this, back in the day...via teletype...yes, Doc Stan, this is indeed showing my age...however, technology has improved (duh) and we have so many ways of seeing the actual happening...oh yea, the Horse had Rodgers on his FF team as a backup...Coach Fife will be making an announcement later in this morning...

The achilles is the one thing that all athletes take for granted...and age...takes over...if that is what Rodgers has had torn...his days in the sport, is over...not just this season...as one of the analysts said, 'this is a tough sport...and these guys choose to play it'...true...it is brutal...but WE watch it...the number one gladiator game in existence...at least in the USA...
