The Wire



It all went down...ah, well, Aaron Rodgers did...in the 1st series of the game...as the 'new' look NY Jets took a big hit...POOF!...just like that, Rodgers was out...ankle injury was the immediate diagnosis...closer look, showed it was probably...the achilles...the most fragile tendon for all athletes...it was a disaster, for the 80,000+ fans in New Jersey...silence went the crowd...and, even, Peyton Manning, predicted a loss thereafter...wait, kids...this team is more than 1 guy...a terrific D...and the Jets beat the Bills in OT...

This is how one would read this, back in the day...via teletype...yes, Doc Stan, this is indeed showing my age...however, technology has improved (duh) and we have so many ways of seeing the actual happening...oh yea, the Horse had Rodgers on his FF team as a backup...Coach Fife will be making an announcement later in this morning...

The achilles is the one thing that all athletes take for granted...and age...takes over...if that is what Rodgers has had torn...his days in the sport, is over...not just this season...as one of the analysts said, 'this is a tough sport...and these guys choose to play it'...true...it is brutal...but WE watch it...the number one gladiator game in existence...at least in the USA...

While I am writing this am, and listening to the 'Forty Licks' of the Stones...man, they are good...so different...from all the others...and word is, they are releasing a new album in October...can it possibly be good?...we need something...

Also releasing soon...the iPhone 15...it is said to be of a new design...size?...what is better?...Apple...they have me wrapped...everything syncs...phone, computer, and mini laptop...it grabs me so much...defeated the others, hands down...drag and drop...you know what I am talking about...

We are tracking that storm out in the Atlantic, to see if it will hit where we are going next week...we will NOT fly into it...not a problem a few days ago...then, it appeared to change direction...fingers crossed...Boston, Mass and Maine...

The Friars are 0-11 in OT games this year...the Bill's Josh Allen is 0-5 in OT games...we have quality company in despair...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
