The Horse had a small relapse...probably shouldn't have gone to the races...as the cold and coughing, increased...alas, the TV was the salvation...along with countless Excedrins, fluids, and cough drops...as I was busy switching channels back and forth...from the Ducks/Texas Tech game, and the Bama/Texas one...both nail biters...the latter was a doozy,  and the former, not played so well...UO survived and I do mean, survived...but, the Vegas line was 6 1/2...hmmm...and the Longhorns simply outgunned the Tide...an upset?...you betcha...

The Beavs, Trojans, Utes, Cougs, and Bruins, all held service...and the show continues on, in the imploding Pac 12...there are some really good teams in the last year of it...oh yea, and the Prime guy, had his team rock the Nebraskans...recall when they were a good squad?...been a long time...Huskies, did win, but were just so-so...too...man, more than I can talk about...this league will be very competitive...

The Morocco death total is over 2,000 now...and utter destruction due to the earthquake...BTW, the numbers of the Lahaina, leveled off at like 115...plus 30 some still unaccounted for...nevertheless, horrific...

Very interesting banter about the BEST Clam Chowder...the passion is out there...makes me want to try them all...of course, with some great home made bread, and a wedge of Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese...thx for the replies...

Back to the 2 PAC...the remaining schools (Oregon St and Wash St) have a dilemma...split the proceeds 2 ways...and close the league down...the other 10 are balking...the deserters...move into the Mountain West...OR...keep the PAC name and invite the elite of the Mountain...we shall see...or invite, Portland St, UC Davis, Willamette, and OCE...and call it the 6 PAC!!!...
