Close the Borders
Do you even know how long the phrase 'Close the Borders' has been going on?...ever since the white eyes hit our shore...seriously, kids...it has been a phrase used so often, it loses it's meaning...the 'NEW" country, mysteriously founded by 'white' people...even though, the 'red' people were already here...lordy...my latest book, on the KKK, rambles thru this slogan, too...
I should have known, but didn't...the Klan came about after the Civil War...as the south had to continue their battle, via the robes and all...undercover...thus, the onslaught of the white supremacy thing...and how the message spread throughout the land...humongous numbers of members...and their thing, was not only the persecution of the blacks, but the Jewish and Catholic peoples...
This idea, long before Hitler did the same...was embedded in the USA...now, it has greater meaning...the Muslims and Latinos have been added to the list...people in power, have tried to cordon off this land...well, since the misguided Columbus thought he landed on the West Indies...the beat goes on and on...and on...

Back when I was a youth...I read so much about the southern states and their bigotry...segregation...little did I know that the state I was living in...was established as a 'white state'...Oregon...and at it's inception, had laws barring blacks from being there...3 years at most, and they were gone...it got worse...it barred all blacks from owning property...in the early 1920's even had a governor that was openly a Klansman...true all of this...even still, the state is predominately....white...87%...what I did not know...
