9/11



For most Americans, the numbers 9/11...stand for the attack on the USA...that we could not fathom...how it was done, unfathomable...one of the incidents, that we know where we were, what we were doing, and how shocking it was...the passenger planes, used as weapons....

We were in Sunriver, Oregon...had just left our son at college, Pomona, in Claremont, California...in a few days, were to fly to Maui, to celebrate our anniversary...as we watched in horror on the pixels...that morning...it was surreal...how could this be happening?...we are impenetrable...oh yea, and we canceled our Hawaiian trip...

Less than 2 weeks prior, we were in New York City...as Cris was looking at a dental school there at Columbia...we were all over that island of Manhattan...including a scenic boat trip around it...where I, unknowingly, took a picture of the Twin Towers...yes, those who had the planes that take them down...and, the idea we got back on those jets to get back to the left coast...just like the ones that were used by the terrorists...

Osama Bin Laden, eventually met his fate...for his orchestration of the mass killings...we, as I have said, much too often, do NOT value life as much as we should...here is my conundrum, just not his...

These moments that will last forever...Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor...JFK assassinated...and 9/11...there are others...but, these, stand out...and are execrable...

Moving on...

First and foremost...the Horse was plenty upset with his FF team...losing to a 10 year old, who forgot to start a QB in his lineup!...talked to my HC Barney Fife, and he put total blame on our GM, AJ B(Bottom) Feeder...it's a long season, he reminded me...yes, I see a loooooooong season...BTW, who is the D coach of the Chargers?...lord, he had to stop 1 guy...ONE!...and couldn't do it...

The Morocco death total now over 2500....an awful situation for sure...the earthquake...

After our mighty dismal performance in the hoops World Cup...LeBron James has stepped up...and is using his influence to get our BEST to play in the next world thang...the '24 Olympics...it's time for the USA to show again, that this is OUR sport...

It's a Monday, and I am not golfing...I have to be mended up by the Maine trip...no mas relapses...still got a hack...and not taking any chances...

I don't give a damn about beisbol anymore...well, this season...did you see the lineup that the Friars put out yesterday?...OMG!...and got shellacked a good one...12-2 and it was worse than that...our 3 worst pitchers were used...no kidding...if this was in the NBA, the commish would have fined the club big money for no effort...losing on purpose...as Kramer says 'turn away, I'm hideous!'...

This is officially 'reunion season'...lose some weight...whiten the teeth...get a hairstyle (rid of the gray)...buy a new outfit...shave the legs...get some botox...aw crap, fuggit about it...wear some jeans, and an old tee shirt...or moo moo...get drunk and not care...and for goodness sakes...NO PICTURES!...where's my letterman's jacket?...

For as much as we say that we are staying put...already, we have the 'missing the kids' syndrome...what are they doing?...what are they wearing?...did they sleep well?...they going to school today?...maybe the door is not shut after all...

Just have to say something about politics, right?...watched and heard Gavin Newsom yesterday....well, just in case there is a withdrawal of Prez B...he is the ONE!...maybe, he should be the ONE, right now....

9/11/01...just a scant 22 years ago...seems longer than that...

And here we go...my 30th conquering of the Sudoku Monster Puzzle...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
