Debate Season


Morning, kids...it is Wednesday, August 23...2023...and it is officially DEBATE SEASON!...tonight, 8 fine republicans square off and tell the world...about how trump is wrong for the party...as he sits in his video room, stocked with Big Macs and Diet Cokes...no doubt, his orange ears will turn to bright red...as he hears the wannabes lambast the bloke...somewhere, on another channel, his pre-taped interview, via Tucker (rhymes with?)...will be playing...that is, if it isn't filled with intimidations...right...there is some brouhaha, that Jr and his girl are gonna be at the debate...and shout out any misguided comments about the orange...good tv...

Tomorrow, the rumor is that trump will turn himself in to the Fulton County jail...more good TV...and his right hand man, in the White House, Mark Meadows....is trying to get out of this whole thing...seeking Fed Help...and Rudy...can't find a lawyer to rep him...now kids, this isn't Watergate...but man, it has similar smells to it...

This 4 Pac stuff...just what is gonna go on here?...these are 4 quality schools that need alignment, somewhere...I just hope they stay on the west coast...but, I have my doubts...imagine the cost to play across the country...in ALL sports...

The Friars, got shut out...egads, too good a bunch of players to go ZERO!...the Trib keeps saying that GM AJ and field Mgr Melvin, are safe...there you go, they will get the hammer...after the hitting coach...again, and again and again...he is always the 1st one gone...in this org...

Skip-lagging...you know what this is?...it's when you book a flight, with a carry over at some site...and that's where you really wanted to go...and it is cheaper, than if you flew ONLY there...airlines don't like it...but, monetarily it is right for the consumer...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
