Convince Me




Good morning, my good friends...what is it about Thursdays that have such an impact?...I would be amiss, to not bring up the trump trial in DC...as he must show today...this judge will have it no other way...the shenanigans will be non-inclusive...this one, will be by the book...why do I say that?...her history of dealings that go on in her court room...

It has been said to not try a case outside of the court room...but, already, trump has named names, called out people, and done whatever he can to 'influence' his people to gather up a storm...I will be surprised if this judge doesn't institute a true gag order...which, as in the past, he ignores...and goes on his merry way of slamming everyone in the social media...I truly believe if he does this, he will be brought in...perhaps, jailed...now, I assume his crack legal team will do the smart thing, and warn the bloke about this...yes, maybe to no avail, as trump thinks he is above any USA law...

This, no doubt, will be a spectacle...with the black escalade motor parade, er cavalcade...the omnipresent police force EVERYWHERE...the devotees with their placards...the naysayers with theirs...and moments of chaos...and, like in his NY court appearance, there were more newspeople and cameras than spectators...yup, I will be watching...

The faithful Friars in a Bristol Stomp, in the last game in Denver...11-1, and there were many dingers hit by the Pads...one by Jr, his 100th in his very short career...BTW, the pitching guy we picked up from KC, Scott Barlow...is a bonafide...HUGE addition...to the pen...5 stars...day off today...then the bloody Bums come to town for a humongous series...

Mike Pence...trump's VP...somehow is sounding more courageous...why now?...digging his former boss...like taking dirt out of the ground to prep this old guy...just a few weeks ago, he was a patty caking the orange...let's see what he is like on the stand...when it really counts...'to the best of my recollection'...

Rudy Guliani...have you seen the tapes of his dalliance with one of his secretaries?...egads, man...that's a sexual harassment suit...but, he is one of the co-conspirators in the trump case...already admitting that he has lied...whatever happened to him?...by all accounts, a real foo...not a 'Suits' candidate...

College realignment...woes...this next season is it...as we know it...then, pandemonium breaks out...schools going here, there, and everywhere...some have already announced...USC, UCLA, Colorado...next are UO/Washington...so many indicators out there...well, rumors...they are going to join the Trojans and Bruins in the Big 16...so what happens to the teams not leaving?...must add SDSU, Fresno St. Boise St...to the Pac whatever the number is...or?...I dunno...

Lizzo, you know her?...she is being sued cuz she fired gals that were gaining weight in her dance group...ah, what?...have you seen Lizzo?...what's wrong with this pix?...

This book...about Clinton, Tennessee...even the preface is good...circa mid 50's...many of the people she (the Author) interviewed, were actually from then!...

So, this has happened twice (that I know of) on the Bachelor and Bachelorette...the chooser, ends up being gay...they don't have this as choices...so, they go thru all the hoopla, kissing, and romper room (so called fantasy suites)...pick someone to get engaged to...then break up...then tell the world they are gay...OK...

We are getting jiggy now...collecting $ price for our condo...which further brings the debate of going forth...almost down to the vote...make it simple, if you know someone who wants to buy this great pad...give me a toot...

Have you seen the black bears that are posing in a Chinese zoo?...this vid, is so laughable, it makes me think of when the whole world was looking for Bigfoot...

Very very interesting...this indictment no. 3 trial...could be the quickest one of them all...and MAY start the soonest...you reading this too, donny?...

This is a big weekend...a concert over at the Shell...an overnight trip to Temecula...and some inkling of them hosses out at DelMar...pack your bags, Boss...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
