Cage Fight



All of the 19 indicted have shown up, been arrested, mugshots taken, and all but one, released on bond...one did not have the bond $...2 have asked for a speedy trial date...October 23rd...am sure that will be granted...and you are now up to speed...

The Cage I am referring to...is the imaginary one, surrounding trump...as his path to freedom has been narrowed...he can't say and go, where he wants...there are restrictions abound...yet, I think he will test those boundaries...he always has...and see what the ramifications truly are...would a judge really incarcerate him?...at least, bring him back to Atlanta?...the concept of not talking to fellow indictees, seems a long shot for orange...about the trial...it's not an ankle bracelet, but dang near as effective...the self assumed svelte one, at 215...just has to find things he can say...to 'his' people...man, he has to be going crazier than normal...

There is the buzz after the 1st debate...Nikki Haley won it...but, the dude Ramaswamy (hootenanny) has made a mark...for the Horse, he is running for VP...he thinks and acts like donny...unabashed ignorance, but is talking anyway...and if he can take down DeSantis from Florida (DF), he will smooth the way for that to happen...maybe, but trump ( if not incarcerated) likes the ladies this time around for his running mate...either the charming (sarcasm) Kari Lake from 'Zona, or the effervescent (yea) MTG, are the leading contenders...why not Sarah?...she has history of being in that same position...and is also, a loser, just like trump...

I digress...

Speaking of losing...the Friars keep on it...wallowing about, in a 7-3 never in it L...you know, a few months back, the Horse said this was a 2 year project for the team...that is, if the clean up of the house of management,  happens...we shall see...

This is Saturday, right?...seems like a Friday...Notre Dame vs the entire Navy...USC to bombard whomever...SDSU hosts Ohio, not state...with the present regime at the Aztecs, I am never sure of the quality of the product...collegiate football, kids...

Lots of commotion after Spain beat England for the World Cup...the Spain soccer prez kissed one of the players on the lips and all hell broke loose...aghast were many...shoot, I thought they all did that over there...guess not...what if the soccer prez was a lady, would the reaction be the same?...

Shooting in Boston...egads, we are going there in about 3 weeks...be there for a couple of nights, then off to Maine to meet up with our good amigos, the Fishers...please stop the nonsense...and the bad weather...

In the finals of the PGA T...also in Atlanta...there is a logjam at the top...today is moving day...so, I think...wait, I promise...the eventual winner will distance himself from the others...who, you may be asking of the Horse?...Victor Hovland...bet a ton of quids on it...the next 'IT' guy for a few years...

Yes, I do have to get back out to DelMar, as I have the money in my hands, via a voucher...Costanza...going to parlay that to much higher amounts of cash...just you wait and see...

Watched a YouTube thang on an oldies concert...featuring Brian Hyland and Del Shannon...Hyland is still with us...'Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini'...'Gypsy Woman'...and his best...'Sealed with a Kiss'...Shannon, is another story...suicide in '90...his name was really Charles Westover...he had a lot of hits...'Runaway'...'Little Town Flirt'...'Handy Man'...and 'Hats Off to Larry'...just guessing, but shortly after the concert was done, he was too...

This 4 letter word...GOLF...there were times yesterday, I actually thought I could shoot me age...had 2 birdies on the front, and listen...missed 2, 5 foot birdies on the back...and then realized...for me to shoot my age, I would have to be near flawless...which the Horse is too wild...ah, Wild Horse...I actually got serious and stiffened up a bit, coming in...no bueno...realize who you are, and just have fun...did break 80, tho...

Finally, I like lyrics and a good melody...the beat?...not as much...and that is what is missing in modern day songs...song writing...dig deep writers, and find the words that make the tune...memorable...even the 'bikini' song had that...do it...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
