The Sound of Summer

Positives and Negatives...as we feel the heat of the summer...the outdoor concerts...the glorious sun beating down on us...the brisk walk from the Bayfront...as we took in The Beach Boys, the Mike Love/Bruce Johnston version...the lively show...and it was a rockin'...this may have been the best ever, at least, as good as...we had a fam behind us...BTW, these are terrific seats...that had 2 younger guys in attendance...28 yr olds...and I asked "who do you like to listen to?"...the answer floored me, "The Beach Boys"...really?...bitchin'...

In this day of waiting for the stars to emerge...the show started at 7:30...really, that was the supposed time...and it did...kept going til 9:45...and YOU KNOW they have that many songs to keep us humming and singing right along...the added John Stamos, was a plus...this dude has non-stop energy...yes, kids, it was just Fun, Fun, Fun...

The negative...2 mass shootings over the night...one in Baltimore, Maryland...2 killed and 28 wounded...and one in Wichita, Kansas...7 shot...and many trampled...keep on a rocking, you republicans...count your NRA dough, and turn the other way...oh yea, and send 'Our thoughts and Prayers'...screw you...

Does Mike Pence actually think that this country would vote for him as our Prez?...he can't even muster enough votes from his own party...aw, just keep on, Mikey...and DeSantis (DF), why are you doing the same?...no chance in Hell...you have to put your big boy pants on, and stand up to trump...and lambast the foo...both of you are not built that way, and ah, you have a front row seat to the embarrassment that donny will throw your way...about time for indictment number 3, don't you think?...

Can Rickey get his 1st win since, well, a long time?...up 1 and a gaggle of contenders lurking...it will go early today, as the weather is supposed to be a factor...

So my VDub has a headlight out...went on YouTube to see the process to change it out...mine is an '07...egads, not the work of a klutz...so, called around...and went out to the mechanic who fixed the tranny....the estimate was like a minimum of $250...you read that right...pull out the battery, unsnap the holder in mechanism...and the bulb is $28...probably a 2 hr job...yup, no kidding...my guy did it in an hour +...put in a new holder, and it was $170 for the entire job...everything looks so simple on the rig, well, not this...this bloke is a VW genius...

You been to the super lately?...Kroger has purnt near bought out them all...Ralph's, Von's, Albertson's, Safeway...and the one we tried yesterday, Food For Less, it was too...who is talking monopoly and price fixing?...if ya got the room to store, Costco is getting more and more a weekly stop...perhaps, Walmart...but...
