The Hi's and Lo's


First of all, HI!...it's a new week and we are in the summer weather, finally...seems like it would never get here...mid 70's in downtown...and up to high 80's and low 90's out at Singing Hills...sometimes it evens approached 100 there...today, will be a warm one on the course...

The lo...well, low point...another loss in OT by the Friars...now, 0-9...this time...it was our real closer who couldn't get the Phil's toughest hitter out..and they caught us...and then won it later on...this is the most underachieving team that I can recall...you know, very soon...firings...trades...releases...all in due time...

A very weird ending to the celebrity golf T in Tahoe...as the leader by 2, teeing off on the 18th and final hole...in the middle of the swing, got a very obnoxious cat call...and he power hooked his drive...luckily it did stay in bounds...just bad crap...and taking advantage of that was the guy in 2nd, the near legendary, Steph Curry...who ended up knocking in an eagle putt and won...tarnished his win, I think...

'Act like you've been there before...he hasn't and he didn't...'

Some of you still believe in trump...OK, we all have beliefs...I just don't understand yours...that's all...as he went on another rant, which he calls speeches...and made up a law, that doesn't exist...that the Prez can take any document he wants, with him, when he leaves office...the thing that bothers me the most...is not what he says...he is delusional...it's that YOU believe him...

The other thing...that displaying the American Flag...somehow doesn't represent the country, but him...another false symbol...reminds me so much of what that guy in Germany did to his very own people...

trump, be a man and get on stage with Christie...it would be the best thing for you...show that you are not cowardice...stand up to the guy, who doubts everything you say and do...show us what your leadership is all about...c'mon, I dare you...

Forbes just released an article...'the stomach bug surging on cruises this year...'...shouldn't that be each and every year?...why is that, anyway?...

You know there was a group called the Hi-Lo's...in the 50's...played and sang behind many musicians at the time...their claim to fame?...'The Scuttlebug Walk'...

We took a walk early last eve and sat on a bench on the bay...well, right by the bay....enjoyed the sun, the warm breeze, and just watched the myriad of people...walking by...'stop and smell the roses'...well, no roses...but it was mighty fine...anyway...my take to all of you....slow down...

Good morning all, from the great state of Oregon...this whole trip is about FRIENDS!...meeting up with peops we have been with over our years in the PNW...and for Boss's reunion....the opening act was a combo party of the two at this pad, a bar, called Johnny's...simply said, it was fun... The stories were there, the faces remained the same...and it tickled moi, that so many FRIENDS showed up...unfortunately, I did not get enough time to talk to all, please forgive me...when you go back some 60 years, my memory does fade a tad...well, and so does their's...ha ha...believe me, it was worth the trip... Boss was one of the belles of the ball...yes, she still looks great...you know that....well, the rest of her class did not know that, until last eve...she was flitting (flirting) about so...which made me smile...and that is only the beginning of it...the REAL reunion is tonight...one of my FRIENDS reminded me that is the gals reunion...which I think is most reunions...it is for...

O Yeah!

When the thesaurus ran it's new version...it highlighted the word 'oration'...and there it was ... President Barack Obama...and then there is more..... see...Michelle Obama ...these two have the fundamental prowess of giving speeches...at the right time...at the right place... No better example of this, than last night at the DNC...each were marvelous...of course ...it's what people, special people, like these two...do...carry a message across the Nation...that we all can not only understand, but agree with... For seemingly years, the Horse has said...that if Michelle O wanted to be in the White House, AGAIN...this time as the President, and not the wife...she could ...however, for right now...she is supporting the right choice...for this time of the history of our country.... Tonight, we hear another exceptional orator...President Bill Clinton ...it's almost like taking a class in college...Speech 101...BTW, I was turrible at it...just in case you were wondering......

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?...
