Natty Fried Chicken Day



Ya, you have to throw out the calorie counters...this is the day that really signifies Summer...when we all can enjoy some great FRIED CHICKEN!...you probably all have places you buy yours...perhaps, you are a cook of sorts...and have a recipe to die for...we here at the home, had a cook off a few years back...combatting BJ Mackle, with her version...the Horse stood up tall and mighty...we called it a draw...thing is, unlike roasting a whole bird, or baking parts...the legs are the true FRIED award winners...that have the best taste, and are the easiest to consume, right?...

The fixins, with it...tater salad...seriously, no macaroni salad, you heathens...baked beans...some of youse have a recipe here, too...mine feature the store bought ones...watermelon...prime time for them, now...and some form of biscuit...gosh, have I made you hungry?...did me...

Kentucky Fried?...Colonel Sanders secret recipe...Canes?...have yet to try them...or, the new add on...chicken sands that you can get most anywhere...do try the Burger King one...seriously...the ultra right owner, that has the Chick a fila ones...my son loves those...don't get it, as we have had them thrice...disappointed each and every time...yes, these are all fried...breasts, supposedly...Boss has done the bizarre...and invested her cash into the chicken that are made from cells...is this AI?...I dunno, but, she thinks she is ahead of the game...

Fried chicken and waffles?...never could understand that...

OK, then...

The Friars...have now won THREE in a row...OMG!...sweeping the talent ladened Angels of LaLa Land...excuse me, but the analysts of the game, have given the 'super star' moniker to the P/OF of the Angels, Ohtani...he is an average chucker...and couldn't hit a curve ball, thrown by our guys...went hitless, and well, was not what I thought that he was raved about...now, Jr, showed them what star is all about...in come the Mets after today's off one...can we got number 4?...

We are heading Temecula way for the weekend...going to stay at Pala...Casino...and watch the concert of Little Big Town...have no idear where our seats are...you may recall the song, 'Pontoon'...amongst many other hits...no Cosmo, this is a hotel stay...

The latest series that is on our pixels...via Prime...is 'Deadloch'...set in New Zealand, where there is a murder mystery (should be plural) occurring...a town over run by lesbians...calm down, now...it's the story line, not my take...and good lord, make sure you do the CC...or you'll never know what they are saying...if swearing makes you squeamish, this is NOT for you...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
