24 Hours

When does 24 hours seem to equal a weekend?
...well, the past one did...so much happened, that it was hard to keep up...yes, we were in Temecula and then Pala...visited and ate in Old Town...which, my good friends, was way bold...got to check in to the hotel in Pala early, which was God send...as we hit the pool and basked with our closest 150 friends or so...interesting layout, as there were like 3 or 4 mini pools...JUST across the area from where the concert was to be held...

Seriously, we crossed right in front of the stage...and while we swam and baked...this group, Little Big Town, did there sound checks...there they were...as most of the 150 went star gazing...and listening...a tease if you will...the concert was an outdoor one...so fun...

Off to clean up, do some gambling (moi) and have din din in a fine restaurant prior to the 8 pm show...yup, I even had Sea Bass, which I promptly switched it for Boss' meal...I am not a Bass fan...we finished 7 minutes before the concert, and that is mighty perfect timing, kids...the group, is extraordinary...they have so many songs, that they didn't do them all...which is fine...I tell ya, Karen Fairchild, has the sweetest voice...

Actually tried to extend our stay, but it was all booked for Saturday...BTW, it is a great hotel with the rooms splendid...did gamble a bit more and bam...I was out...had a bodacious breakfast at the Pala Cafe this morning...and we hit the road, Jack...it was a perfect trip...

Did see that the Friars went OT again...this time with them Mets...the Pads are without any wins in OT this season...0-8!...like nil....zero...zilch...none...nunca wins...which has an inkling to what?...pitching, hitting, or managing?...you pick...

OK, I am so tired...a nap is in my crystal ball...see you all in the morning...
