The first time I saw this, I felt that it must be a mistake...the water off the Florida Keys is at the temperature of 100*!...and a bit higher, too...what?...is that possible?...how do the fish survive?...fact is, it is true...right now, kids...the coral reefs are being damaged...it's a phenomena that can only be called 'global warming'...in the pool, here at the Home, the temp is a cool 78*...what is the temp of a normal hot tub?...100*-102*...I can recall, for the many times we have stayed in our condo in Cocoa Beach...the Atlantic side of DeSantis's Florida (DF)...the water was extremely warm...not like the other coast's water temp...(the Pacific)...but no where close to 100*...

Just as hot as that...Manny Machado, as he was thrown at last eve, by the Bucs pitcher...square in the back side after the previous batter, Juan Soto, homered...old school stuff...no warnings, the pitcher was tossed...and of course, a few minutes after him...the manager...as the announcer , Mud Grant, said 'hey, we got one just like that, coming your way'...old school...did not happen...it's vintage baseball...oh yea, the Friars won it...keep going...

Date nite...turned into something odd...as the Chinese joint we go to, was closed until Thursday...Thursday-Monday, I think, they are open...so, we had driven all the way out to Sycuan...played some slots...had a make shift dindin there...won a tad bit of scratch...!...and then, stopped at a DQ...a Buster Bar, and a Peanut Buster Parfait...ate in the top down VDub...listening to some 60's music...way cool...even rad...

The Chargers, formerly of here...the ONE move they have done right, not leaving, but signing the Duck QB Herbert...got himself a lot of scratch from the team...and the pathetic Spanos...5 year, $262.5 million buck extension!...

Well, it is time to wrap my groin...gonna cross 'em this time...and hope I can weather the impending pain...'a lesser athlete could not handle this'...a quote from the legendary coach, Larry Gahr...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
