Getting it Right


Condo living...has some repairs to it also...like a home?...a house?...no...but, inside the structure...yup...as we have had some stuff...the expert window cleaner...we have gobs of windows...amazing...our ice maker went on the Fritz (what on earth is that slang?)...had it replaced...and today, we have a carpet dude, here, to stretch out the carpets...of course, we are dependent on the many people above us, to keep their units running properly...we are on floor 5, there are 35 floors...

The whole living arrangement is kinda cool...great views...we have 2 decks...24 hour security...walking to restaurants, bars, and parks...and to Petco for the Friars...we are 5 minutes away from Amtrak...10 minutes away from the airport...2 blocks away from the trolley, which goes most everywhere...and we have Lyft and Uber available 24 hrs...our Doc is 15 minutes away and messages us whatever we need...rad...

Yes, this vertical living has it's plusses...it wasn't cheap, but nuttin is in SoCal...with the old Jerry Seinfeld series, he called his condo 'his home'...it is just that...I keep thinking back to all that stuff we stored in our previous home in Orygun...it is all streamlined now...ha ha...

The Nuggets did finish off them Lakers...how sweet it is...there is a clip showing LeBron saying 'he should be coaching this damn team'...right, the inmates revolt...imagine 'coaching' in that league...and now, if the Heat do the next one...the sweep of the Celtics...then it will be set...for the Champ series...

This debt ceiling...'getting closer'...just wonder what is being bargained about...we need someone who knows about money in the meeting...trump?...ha ha ha ha...he be in debt...but he wrote about $?...nope, it was a ghost writer...he can't write or spell...

You confused as to the Russia invasion of Ukraine?...now, the reports of strikes in...RUSSIA!...what is going on?...you KNOW my synopsis, that Putin will get the pink slip from the Kremlin...

Broken record here...but, damn, that series 'The Diplomat' is great...we just finished season 1...it is a little deep and you might have to think through it...just call me, Snooki, I will explain...

I don't get this...maybe I do...Judges warn trump, in his many cases...to NOT talk about the case...and he still does...is this contempt?...calls people names...how does he get away with this?...ANY other person would be held...fined, perhaps, jailed...right?...

Jeffrey Epstein...so many powerful, and or rich people, were entangled with the bloke...the list continues to grow...makes me wonder, what were all these 'guys' doing?...I have a guess...a clue...an inkling...money must buy anything...

We just constructed a new Cosmo trip...up the coastline...of course, to see our kids, included...the end product is the Hearst Castle...it is not easy, doing this at such a late time...but does look solid....

'This Magic Moment'...terrific song by ?...originally by the Drifters, circa 1960...then redone by Jay and the Americans...in 1968...my fav was the latter...did you know the flip side of that, was 'Since I Don't Have You'...another Horse fav...but, by the Skyliners...that song was covered by many...ie, Guns N' Roses, Don McLean,, Ricky Nelson, Patti LaBelle, Eddie Holman, Chuck Jackson, Manfred Mann, and the Vogues...whew...this too, was a splendid tune...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
