Shake, Rattle, and Roll

The day is upon us, for the champ game of the...guys...as the City College of Diego is playing the heavily favored Univ of Connecticut...well, really it is the SDSU Aztecs...but this city (town?) is embracing it as theirs...the Horse even is going to wear my Aztecs stuff to the course...you know, what I have said...we have yet to play our best game...it is true...'we'...well, the cities...

In contrast, the gals champ game was a laborious peek at a team, that is filled with talent...but harboring disgusting self discipline...which starts with their coach, Kim Mulkey...the eventual champs, the LSU Tigers...basking in a disturbing amount of taunting...and showing to the hoops world how NOT to act...of all the gals teams I have seen...this was the most unsettling of all...think back to the UO Ducks, led by Sabrina Ionescu...and the years of UConn teams...all class acts...yes, this is an isolated team of many that are well groomed...

You see, I mention them...the winners...but at what cost?...Iowa walks away the 2nd place team...but, with their heads held high...BTW, the officiating was seemingly intimidated by the game itself...perhaps, the ways of Mulkey...this observation by the Horse, who was just watching to be watching...no dawg in the race...

Out east...like in NY...orange is to be flying in to deal with his indictment tomorrow...the 'leaks' are that he is going to fly back soon after the court appearance and stage a 'rebuttal'...thing is, donny...there are other 'leaks' that he may be hit with a gag order...to not speak on the case at all...if broken he will sit in jail for 30 days...now, isn't that interesting...this journey is about to begin...where's the popcorn?...

One of his disciples, MTG, was featured on 'Sixty Minutes' last eve...wooah...I dunno, kids...this is really a House Rep?...I really do believe she is going to be trump's running mate, if he is outta the slammer...the piece, well, you need to see it to believe it...find it on one of those repeat show thingers...HULU?...

Did watch the 'CMT Music Awards' last eve...egads...country?...not much of it...more pop...or something...who'd a thunk that Jelly Roll would win 3 awards?...right, I had no idea who he was, er, is...but, his song was very entertaining...really...you think I am April Fooling you, don't ya...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
