The Trading Business




The art of ownership...tinkertoys...the fat cats owning an NBA team for their personal pleasure...why not?...some of us, the elders on a fixed income...dabble with the price of eggs...plan trips on a dime...whatever that is...and these blokes, spend billions of dollars to get their best value in a hoops team...trading like these human beings are no more than basketball cards in a set...they got it and that's the game they play...

Nowadays, the players get outrageous amounts of money...as they play for pay...so the movement, is not so bad...when they get traded from one rich cat to another...and we, the fan, probably have to absorb a bigger price tag to the seat (s) we sit in...to watch these guys play the game...fair enough, I reckon...as the stadiums, er arenas, are filled with adoring patrons...'MVP' is the chant...sure enough...

We want our team to be the champion....so does the owner...especially the owner...the fat cat will get bigger...richer, and thus, happier...sure, we all want to be happier...

So, the Brooklyn Nets dismembered their team of the decade...the fat cat bought, er brought in Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant, and James Hardin...to make up the super team in the City...failed miserably...and now...they are all gone...Hardin to the 76ers, Irving to the Mavs, and now, Durant to the Suns...it's just a game...money...no problem, they got it and the next phase sets in...

I mentioned a trip on a dime...for us, the rest of us...as Cosmo will take us on a trip up the coastline for gasp...15 days...!...a fact-finding one that is very similar to what Chris Columbus did in the 1400's...venturing out to lands we are unfamiliar with...ending up in Half Moon Bay, where the locals will be scurrying about much like what Columbus found in his trek...he found the West Indies, thus we savages are now forever termed 'Indians'...thanks Chris...well, we expect to find the people at Half Moon Bay, equally as wild and untamed, as we shall name them the 'moonies'...fair is fair...I digress...

These numbers of death in the Turkey/Syria earthquake are unfathomable...over 17,000 now!...the pain and sorrow is unprecedented...lord, now over 19,000!!!

Money...I ventured out to Sycuan to fill me tank up of petrol...$4.05 for a gallon...anywhere else I see it is $4.49 for the same gallon...that is the cheapest price...many of the Shell/Chevron/Mobil is much much higher...these gas companies rip us off, kids...all of us...

LIV golf...you know, Greg Normans' tour...who gave out humongous amounts of cash for pro golfers to join in...according to the LIV attorneys, generated 'virtually Zero' revenue in 2022...no money...ha ha ha...some of their tourneys are on trumps golf courses...I bet he makes money on them...

The word around the compound is that there is growing interest in an animal...er, pet...the Horse, says one animal is enough...and you are reading him right now...but, my vote counts less than the Boss's...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
