An Uncomfortable Change

For all of you baseball purists, your world will be shattered...the Cactus and Grapefruit Leagues...ah, spring ball in MLB...are using a pitching clock, and a batter's clock...to speed up the game...15 seconds with no runners, 20 if there are...it makes for a very annoying game...witness the Horse, in a game yesterday...adds up to a very odd feeling...hurry up...lost in this, is the fact that the pitchers throw the rock above 92 mph...I understand the theory of speeding the game up from 4 hours...not sure the concession stands feel the same...it's almost frantic...slow down, owners...20/25 is a better start...just my observation...

The Murdaugh murders...well, we saw the Netflix series on this...emphasizing the boat crash of the 6 kids...the loss and death of one...as the son, Paul, was driving the boat...drunk...and the father, Alex, soon after trying to pin that on one of the other boys in the boat...a glimpse into the life of the Murdaughs...the power family of the small town...the lawyer group that dominated the town for generations in South Carolina...just like a novel that one would read about the south, except, this is for real...the docu did, or does, plant things into one's brain...

'Don't you know who I am?'...apparently not...on an airplane...the father and daughter were seated apart...seeing this, the actor, Martin Short, offered to move so they could be together...a kind gesture...kindness...Short had no idea that the guy, was a famous rapper...'Chance the Rapper'...ah, I would not have known either...

Got a vid from Snooki this am...snowing in West Salem...again...Orygun...doesn't Mother Nature know this is the end of February?...

Real life...how the Horse ruined the pork loin...ah, the double skinny ones...slow cooking is not the answer...tried to coat it after with some teriyaki sauce...that part was good...the meat?...near jerky...needless to say, Boss said I was through cooking...I give up...er, was fired...

About 45 minutes...how many times have you been roaming in a town, city, or casino...trying in vain to get some place to eat?...how long the wait?...'about 45 minutes'...this one time, I beat the system...walked up to the hostess...there were six of us, including me boss...reservation for Wilson...'yes, Mr Wilson, come right this way'...wonder if Wilson ever showed up...?...true story...

Seeings we have been gone for 15 days this month...and been sick an equal amount...there is no way that I have to do them damn bills so soon...of course, I have but 6 of them...still...

American Idol...has been shown twice...missed 'em both...as we are asleep, fully medicated, by 7:30...no joke...and still sick...lord...BTW, any good auditions?...
