A Shout Out
The State of the Union Address...Prez B did his thing...it was good for him...notice my statement...he is not an Obama type of speaker...nobody is...however, his message of 'Let's Finish the Job' came out loud and clear...perhaps, too clearly...as the wildly unenthusiastic right begged to differ...here is my beef...the shouting out in the House is abysmal...Speaker McCarthy had asked for his followers to be civil...to act like they belong there...unfortunately, to deaf ears...for youse who have seen the way Britain holds their meetings...state addresses, whatever they call theirs...the shouting out is expected...not here...well, I guess there may be a carryover...and a new normal may be in the works...too bad...
Did NOT watch the rebuttal speech by the Repubs...Huckabee did it...and does not warrant a look from this blogger...saw enough of her while she was touting her boss, at the time...trump...enough already...
However, did turn over to the LeBron James Show...as he gained his reputation as the number 1 scorer, of all time...in the NBA...an achievement of ability and longevity...passing Kareem Abdul Jabbar...for all of his proper choices of words while addressing the crowd once he got it...he ruined it with an 'F' bomb...is the GOAT?...nah...no way...MJ and Kobe far above the dude...in the recent times...Bill Russell and Oscar in the past...all better...he is really good, but...not the best...shoot, Bird and Magic, better, too...yet, he has scored more...
The death total keeps rising in Turkey and Syria...over 7100 the last I saw...can't imagine...whenever you hear 'our thoughts and prayers'...this really does apply...
There were the stars at the LeBron game...the family, too...for the gala event...yes, kids, Bad Bunny was front and center, too...BTW, the LaLa Lakers, lost again...to the Washington Generals, ah wait, the OKC Thunder...who are 'coached' by a 37 yr old...'set it up!...'hey, dude, we got no plays'...AND...the Milwaukee Bucks come into LA...I will bet you a quid that LeBron does not play...nor AD...
It sure seems, via the SOUA address, that us seniors have nothing to worry about, when it comes to Social Security and Medicare...after all the hullabaloo, the sides seem to agree with that...probably, the best adlib of the night for Prez B...

Finally a real happening in Walmart...to moi...as we were grocery shopping there...mass amounts of people, doing the same thing...as I was standing at one of the aisles, I felt a nudge into my rear end...dammit, stop it Boss...it was not her...but a person who was trying to cop a feel, or pickpocket my wallet...she saw it all...we moved on...quickly...never...again...will...we...shop...there...
