Might that be 'hair pulling'?...flipping a coin...red or black on the wheel?...or just plain 'Head Scratchin'...trying to figure out the winners of the final 4 in the NFL...it's easy if you are a fan of one of them...but us who have no dog in the race...wait, them Greyhounds aren't in the loop much anymore...us, who have no HORSE in the race...that's better...who do we pick?...the wester coast teams?...

Here we go...did you know that Cincinnati is called 'The Queen City of the West?'...listen here, you heathens...that had to be when them Injuns were roaming the other side of the country...the west ended in Ohio...for that reason alone...the Horse picks the way out west (?) Kansas City Chiefs...who had to be named for the embattled free area...

San Francisco and Philadelphia...49ers vs the Eagles...rumor has it, that the panhandlers took offense to the name SF chose...suggested to use 'Quakers' in lieu...but, the Quakers took offense to that...so, 49ers stuck...still, to be able to acquire the most versatile running back in mid-season, McCaffery...that alone makes this a no-brainer...21-17...

To add on to what I wrote about yesterday, in the infamous CD entry...all past living presidents, have been asked to look in their basements, offices, garages, for some of these CD's...return them if you find them...no questions asked...and the Feds won't tell a soul you had 'em...no leaks...trust the FBI...or whomever is asking...

It was made mention to me, that someone does not like the group America!...now, I could see Madonna, or Bob Dylan, or Miranda Lambert, or LuLu, but America?...who doesn't like them?...'A Horse with No Name'...how could you?...no doubt a heathen...

Do any of you out in the Horse world, have trouble sleeping?...do you take any sleep supplements?...as I have aged, the hours seem to diminish...perhaps, it could be the concussions...

Memphis is sitting on a powder keg...with the 5 cops who killed a civilian...I am not judging, but there are signs that it may have been extreme...be aware...

Out at Torrey Pines, the Farmers Open is going on...why they play the North Course is beyond moi...yesterday, we had the Santa Ana winds...gusts that are beyond belief...we drove past Balboa Park, and there were many trees down...one across the entry to I-5...imagine that back up...today?....like nothing ever happened...

Off to the course, hoping there is no frost delay...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
