Gen Z



My generation...so many times, the Horse has made mention to this...the time that growth was happening...ha ha...60's and 70's, I guess...that formulated the rest of this person...some yo yo's have tagged another name to it...Generation X...which usually bewilders me, when I hear that...reckon it is is easier to refer to that age group, our, that way...

NOW, the hot topic is the Generation Z...simply referred to as Gen Z...the cats from the beginning of the web net world til the present day...very interesting, as the information that forms their growth, is all here say....right?...in the latest survey (by them, you know)...the news that they get is from a series of sources...led by the social network system...easily the tops...near the bottom?...the newspaper...Gen X (ours) just the opposite...

As per the previous Prez we all had, Fonny...he would say anything and then it was a truth to some...no facts, just word of his mouth...much like what we can find, er the Gen Z folks can find...on the social networks...you can write anything...substantiation not needed...ah, much like what the Horse knocks out most every day...I try to be honest and with sources...does donny?...

Is there going to be a follow up to Gen Z?...ran out of the alphabet...head on over to the numbers, perhaps...Gen 1?...you see, the Horse worries about things like this...innocuous bits of trivia, that means nuttin to the world...but, to moi?...yup...BTW, who was the dude who came up with the spelling of innocuous?...to the wood shed, the heathen...

Get this...some insurance companies are refusing to insure some people with these cars,  Hyundai and Kia...not for what you may be thinking...and it is in some cities, not all...State Farm and Progressive, to name two...cuz these cars are TOO EASY to steal!...what?...why do you have insurance?...

Trump...there you go...is saying in court, that the Trump Org can't be sued, as it doesn't really exist...egads, one could go further and say, that HE doesn't really exist...

But, he does...

Watched the Warriors and Raptors play last eve...points a plenty...as GS won it...there was a time, with 3:49 to go in the game...the camera (Golden St feed) was in the huddle of the Warriors...Coach Kerr was diagramming something...feverishly...and NOT ONE player was watching what he was doing...'SET IT UP!"....right...'ah, 1'...right...'who's ball?'...

Listen, kids...golf is a very very hard game...don't let it get to u...swear words, OK...that happens...but, clanging the whatever with your stick, not...yes, I have hammered the ground with a club...but, the rest of the stuff...no...it's a game...that wins, you do not...here, have a beer...and enjoy your surroundings...

The Farmer's Open...is a Wednesday-Saturday T...which means it finishes up today...Rahm 2 back...and was this due to the NFL playoffs for Sunday?...TV stuff...as the Horse will miss the playoff games, due to the Alumni Tourney in LA...tape em?...naw...will watch the highlights when I get home...playing golf with my son, is far greater a treat...

This story about one of the very best pitchers in all of MLB...Sandy Koufax...much had to do with his religion...Jewish...but, the real thing, was how young he was when he retired...at 31...countless records that he put up for the Dodgers...in HIS generation, there was nothing about Tommy John surgery...he said he warmed his arm up all morning, so he could pitch that day...and took countless cortisone shots...that ruined his stomach...he wanted to live a full life with both arms...enough was enough...I get it...

I think we can finally put the cat ownership biz to rest...for the sake of all of our furniture, and Easter egg hunting (trying to find the critter)...we shall move on...

Just a week ago, we were in Cabo...seems like a month...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
