Fixing a Hole

Reality wins...don't really care what state you are in...what city (town) you are driving...you could be in the country...er, county...and 'BUMP', your car gets a jolt...another POTHOLE!...all over the place...you all know this...when we talk infrastructure, let's start at the ground floor...fix them damn roads!...when your political dude or dudette promises this or that, when they get elected...let them accomplish something...this they can do...FIX THE DAMN ROADS!...then, move on to the homeless...

Not so funny memory...when I got in this horrific car accident when I was 21...I was not driving...my head got smashed a bit...for youse who know me well, my forehead has a V carved in the head...anyhoo, when the nurse was carting me to my hospital room, I heard another nurse, say 'is this the one with the hole in the head?'...there you go, the reason for my lack of _______!...you can fill in the blank...

Didn't the Beatles have a song about 'Fixing a Hole?'...on the White album...I think...

Costco has the best meat...for the price...we had the filets last eve...you know I have messed up the last 2 meals prior...not this one...in fact, we both couldn't finish the whole steak...they were that big and wow...today, the leftovers will make for a terrific sandwich...

The Friars...haven't said much about them lately...picked up another player that has roots with Manny and Soto, the all star Nelson Cruz...another Dominican!...and now we have the whole shebang...gosh, the parts are there...
