The Playoffs Begin




MLB has spruced up their playoffs...no more of the one and done wild card...it is now a best of 3...no duh, red rider...there was nothing like that in the regular season, and they had it in place for the playoffs?...finally, they are getting with it...yesterday, made for a great day of beisbol, if you are into it...for moi, I don't get to see much of anyone other than the Friars...so, this was a treat...

The crazy 9th for the Phillies, down 2-0...and they went berserk and scored 6...the M's looked terrific, well, their pitching did...and I was in ga ga land when, I noticed their ace closer, Munoz, was once ours...GM Preller messed up on this one...of course, the best of the best, was the last game on...as the Padres cruised...won 7-1...and made the pundits all over the land, eat CROW!...the news hub of the Nation, NYC was ticked...

Be patient, kids...it is a best of 3...so sit tight...don't get euphoric quite yet...there are many innings of the game to be played...

College football, too...a bunch of game days...wow, you can get your fill of sports...the best ones:  TCU at Kansas...Tennessee at LSU...Texas at Oklahoma...Utah at UCLA...Auburn at Georgia...Ohio St at Mich St...WSU at USC...the Ducks at Arizona...the Beavs at Stanford...and my sneak pick of the week...Texas A&M to UPSET Alabama...

Moving on...

Putin's world of war...has taken another hit...their pipeline of goods, services, and war tools...was bombed...the bridge to transverse the above...wonder when the Kremlin will call him back home...and send him to ______, well, wherever they send the fallen dictators...Siberia?...

In whatever world they are in...the Biebs is upset with Ye, who bad mouthed his wife, the daughter of one of the Baldwins...perhaps, a match in the boxing ring to settle the dispute?...

Bought a book, like a cook book...that uses the cast iron skillet only...it is keenly interesting...made the chicken in it last eve, and it was super...

Bought another book on 'The Vietnam War'...co-written by Ken Burns...to say it is fascinating is an understatement...he pulls no punches...listen, I can understand why Ho Chi Min, did what he did...an eye opener, kids...it has so many pages in it, may take a couple of months to read...I feel like I should be using a yellow hi-lighter...(hilight-er?)...(high-light-er?)...while going thru it...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
