The Fruitcake

So you may have exhausted your look for the perfect present...scoured the web net and found nothing that fits...mozied down to the Home Goods and found nuttin'...then realized that many of the specialty stores have closed their doors...have you gone to the local mall lately?...ah ha, the Horse has a tip for ya...shhhhh, don't want there to be a rush to the...well...shhhhh...it's the supreme gift...gonna tell all of you out in the Horse World, that it probably is NOT under the tree right now...it is now considered UNIQUE...shhhh...it is the fabulous FRUITCAKE!...a staple as long back in the 1400's...well, for you white people...soaked in liquor, most often RUM...a delicacy that needs to find a way back...so, why not you?...give your man, or your lady, a treat like no other...you can thank me later...

OMG, the missing link to the political debates...the infamous trump taxes...he couldn't release them, he said, cuz they were being audited...for 6 years?...obviously, the IRA must be slow...and thorough...ah, but he had to finally give them up...you see, he lied...I know, what?...his 1st time...and the House just voted to release them to the public...let's just say they may be more scrutinized than the Warren Report...one quick ditty, he paid no Fed Taxes his last year as he was squatting in the White House...I guess that is really a good gig, no, a great gig...no taxes...this is YOUR guy, you forevers...how much tax did YOU pay?...

The weather is a humongous factor this Christmas Weekend...cold, freezing temps, and loads of snow...all across the USA...up an down, but not here in south SoCal...could be 80* on Christmas Day...travel plans will be sketchy throughout the country...delays, cancellations, flight probs...let alone trying to traverse the roads...we plan on heading on out to the beach for the afternoon...

I am a Duck FOOTBALL fan...singular...not the other sports...so what do you call that?...wait, I lied...like the gals hoops, too...anyhoo, the guys hoops were at home hosting Utah Valley...right...coached by the one time LaLa Laker sorta star, the fleet footed and magical dancer, Mark Madsen...ah, they whupped the Ducks...oh my...Utah Valley?...seriously, I never ever heard of that school before...

The Friar farce...the damn Yankees keep thinking that they are gonna get Jr...well, they would have to give up a starting pitcher and their HR dude, Judge, to get him...even then, I doubt it...

Out of the blue...on our bike ride yesterday...we were roaming the streets of the Rady...and heard the orchestra a playing...stopped and asked the ticket lady what was this all about...yup, we bought tix to the show for tonight...sitting in the snobby area...service at our table...think the Horse is going to wear a Top Hat...and carry a shillelagh....OK, find me the bloke who spelled that, and I am going to bop him on the knee...with it...

My FF team...in the playoffs...ah, we all make it...of course, I am in the loser's bracket...the consolation...wondering, does the winner advance or the loser?...

I'll give you one of my Minnie Minoso BB cards for one of your trump trading cards...

The Home...our HOA's are up there...comparable to other fine buildings...BUT...the dues went up $200!!!!...A MONTH!...without a vote...they (board) must have authority to raise them a certain %...it had to be the max...doesn't seem right, the value of the home has decreased, and they raise the internal costs....time for a revolution!...well, not really...maybe a coalition such as myself should run for the board...

Geez, now I have taken this down a bit...off to the links and hit some whoppers...have some fun...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
