The Decision

Morning, kids...we are approaching a very tell all time in our political world...this Tuesday, we shall see the fruits of the labor of those in that field...which affects us all...let's hope you did your part, and VOTED!...I have been driving this home for some time now...do NOT assume anything...the majority rules...and we need YOUR VOTE!...

Not a fan of Brian Kelly...especially when he was yanking the heads of his QB's at Notre Dame...when they did the impossible, being human...and made an error...off he went to LSU. where I am sure a gaggle of the Irish were glad to see him depart...BUT...I am impressed with how he builds his football program...and last nite, he did the gutsiest thing I have seen for quite awhile...in OT versus the always awesome 'Bama...he chose to win or lose the game...after a TD...going for 2, rather than kick the tying Xtr-point..."I didn't want to go back and forth in OT, so chose to try to win it right now"...he did, LSU won, and it's what these blokes get paid the big bucks for...

Kudos to the best team in beisbol...the Houston Astros, as they won the World Series...their run thru the playoffs was simply marvelous...

Fonny...the foo donny...trump...made his presence felt in Pennsylvania...and made a statement that triggered the anger in my brain more than what he normally gushes...referring to the incarcerated blokes who did his dirty work during the Coup Attempt on Jan 6..."let them all out"...he blurted...does he not see how the real world is looking at his orchestration of that deadly attack?...du duh du duh du duh...borrowing the sounds of 'Jaws'...

Dang it all, the Ducks did cover...by 39 points!...and that's resting the starters in the 4th stanza...they (we) are better than I thought...and get tested next week again...the Dawgs come to Autzen...will be very interesting how the rankings go this Tuesday...as I promised, Georgia beat Tennessee ( I said 15+)...it was 14...Clemson got clobbered by Notre Dame...and 'Bama got beat by LSU....thus, 3 of the teams ranked ahead of the Ducks, fell...we are #8...I can never figure these things out...

The Breeders Cup...had a good Saturday and ended up making some scratch...not enough to bank it...so, will save for the Bing Crosby meet at Del Mar...

Holy moly...that Powerball jackpot is nearing $2 billion bucks!...imagine...Monday niter...

Finally, here at the home...we are improving...but still coughing...whatever it is, it hangs on and on and on...
