Back to Work



The life of a retiree...Horse version...I will get up circa 5 am...fix myself a cup of Joe...and 'Back to Work'...read...read...my 23 sources of what's been going on...try to capsulate that, into a comprehensive bit of journalism...that will inform, and entice at the same time...YOU, the reader...of course, I add some juice to it...my very own take on the matters at hand...

None better or worse than elections...Election Day...great fodder for moi...but, it is also a grim reality to what this country has sunk to...the great divide...brought about by trump...perhaps, it has always been there...and it took the depths of a shallow, yet powerful man to bring it to the forefront...now, we wallow in it...

The results...the Jan 6 coup attempt...the attack on Nancy Pelosi's husband...death threats...the constant denial of what the majority wants...saddens me immensely...as we are all in this together...regardless of who wins...

I can't imagine any woman releasing the rights to her very own body...how can they as a union, not VOTE accordingly?...

So, it will be what it will be...stuck in a time warp...of historical means...that the history books (if still used) shall report...

As my good friend and former coach warned me 'BRACE YOURSELF!'...indeed...

Moving on...

The Tweetdom world has now iced it's way into a Republican forum...the buyer, Musk, has encouraged all his new followers, to vote with the GOP...nothing subtle there...thus, the Demos are flocking elsewhere...Fonny failed in his truth social...this will be his sounding board now...bye bye...

College hoops started up last eve...ah what?...we used to start practice in November...practice...not games...c'mon folks, this is too soon...

BTW, all 30 NBA teams played yesterday...none today...to emphasize the need for us all to get out and VOTE!...good on the league...

Ducks are #6...Ohio St and Michigan yet to play...wouldn't hit be great if somewhere down the line, UO faced Georgia...again...in the BSBCS playoffs?...gotta win out...and then, get lucky...

Security breach in the $2 BILLION BUCK LOTTERY?...something is smelling mighty fishy...

This is now the official off season in MLB...where players become free agents...the Friars need a 1B...a lefty hitter...and Rizzo just left the Yankees...hmmm....good fit?...

Rain...even down here in south SoCal...'we need it'...arriving a tad bit later than was prognosticated...just may interfere with my golf on Wednesday...a complete unacceptable occurrence...

My crypto coin value us at $132...lawdy...

I keep showing up an hour early to all my functions...what gives?...

And NOW I have to burst your bubble about the ever famous Andy Griffith Show...Andy, Opie, Aunt Bee, Howard, Barney, Thelma Lou, Goober, Helen, Floyd, Otis, and Gomer...you see in the opening segment...as the whistler is getting us into the show...Andy and Opie walking along the river bank...and then Opie throws and skips a rock on the water...there was a problem...he couldn't do it...so, a bloke hid in the bushes, and threw it instead...if you look closely, there is a momentary splice in the vid...boom shakka laka...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
