There's Nothing To Do

Nostalgia time...how many times when we were young...ha ha...like really...and we cried out 'There's nothing to do'...teeny boppers...us...so, we popped into the car...and went out...just out...picked up a girl or boy and went down to 'The Gut'...you know, where 'everyone' went...when there was nothing to do...of course, prior to that...you washed your own rig...there was no drive thru thangs then...vacuumed it out, with your mom's vacuum...it had to be spotless...it was like going on a date, but not...ya even cleaned yourself up....put on your best Levi's...white tee and either a Pendleton shirt, or a V neck sweater...Chuck Taylor tennies, or penny loafers...rad...off you went to 'The Gut'...where you drove around and around and around...to see and be seen...got to stop at a real drive in...where the gals would come out on roller skates to take and deliver your order...burger, fries, and a root beer...oh, the times...wanna go back?...it would be grand, huh...well, in a way you can...find the flick 'American Graffiti'...and watch and find your something to do...

Buzz about town (city?)...the Friars host their first playoff game in ages...in flies the bloody Bums...who normally buy out the tix and it appears like their own home game...we shall see, if the ticket holders held on and resisted the LA dollars...and went to the game...themselves!...this will be a beaut...as the series is tied at one each...all along, I have said we may be one year away from our best...perhaps, just perhaps, this Padre team can snatch it a bit early than my prognostication...fingers crossed...

The Coup Committee did their foremost to show that trump was behind the entire coup...the latest addition was the texts of the secret service....I guess the one thing that got me the most...was trump watching for 3+ hours on his TV the siege...and he did nothing, and was happy...people tried to convince him to intervene...'he liked what he saw'...pathetic man...and the fact that people lost their lives in the lawless act...tells me he should be prosecuted...the committee, then voted on having trump subpoenaed...to air his views to them...will he?...or will he get jailed for refusal?...can you imagine, you are the Vice President of the USA...and your very own boss has his boys yelling 'hang Mike Pence'...

In another sad and very ho hum situation...as it happens way too often...a mass shooting in North Carolina...then in Connecticut, 2 police officers were ambushed and killed...ho hum, meaning we are too nonchalant about these...it is a weekly tragedy in our Nation...

Kroger Grocery bought out Albertsons...in a 'merge' that could alter pricing...?...I dunno, hopefully it will help a chain that has deteriorated...at least down here...

This has no fact to it...just an observation...maybe it is a fact...that many people, having just traveled via airplane, come down with the Covid...many?...30-50%?...I just hear about it so much...hey, do you and I take the latest Covid booster?...Boss says yes...and the latest flu shot...think Kyrie is?...ha ha...

What is better...rotting in jail for a lifetime, with no pardon ever...or death by injection?...the Parkland School killer gets the former...
