The Horse is up real early today...kept thinking about what I could write about...had to suppress the Friars for a while...take a deep breath and look elsewhere...just have to go to the marvelous football game in Tennessee...where the home team beat Alabama...been a looooong time for the Vols to be this good...and likewise, the Tide to be just good, not really good...might there be PARITY a brewing in the game?...I think so...how about the Utes beating the news source loved ones, USC!...really, can't wait for this weeks beaut...Chip's Bruins at the Ducks...

There are some fun, well, odd, debates going in that state of Georgia...if they show...flabbergasts me so, that so many people would vote for Herschel and MTG...blind followers...must be hard of hearing, too...the 'candidates' mentioned are lovingly followers of Fonny...gonna ride that train until it finally gets derailed...

Hey, watched the Yankees/'Guardians' game last eve...how in the world does Cleveland stay in this match?...and, who in the world named them the 'Guardians?'...the worst name in sport anywhere...must be satire...has to be, cuz they were required to drop the 'Indians' name...

I will give them this...even tho they got whipped by the Friars...and were sent home to LaLa Land...sporting the best record in the regular season...they do have the best looking cap in the biz...

The pundits were right on about the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFL...undefeated after 6 games...have yet to see them...however my FF team is now wallowing about in last...given a 1% chance for victory today...seriously...tragically, there are no bright spots on the horizon...it is a building year...

60 Minutes carried a section on the Putin War...and how and why he kills randomly...so sad that that arsehole is still alive...makes no diff who he kills...he will meet his fate soon...

Gosh, I got many wonderful wishes on my past birthdate...so nice to hear from ya'll...the beauty of Facebook...

We are embarking on a Cosmo trip up the coastline...first time without Sammi...sad...yea, 17 years is tuff...but can hardly wait to see the grandkids...so, my posting will be spotty...bear with me...

OK, the next set of playoff games are starting up on Tuesday...right here in SD...with the Phillies...both are wild card teams...we were ranked 5th and them dudes, 6th...so we have the hammer...

I am a FAN of the DH...makes the game so much better...

Also on Tuesday, the NBA starts their elongated regular season...82 games...too many, if you ask me, and you were, right?...then they have their playoffs...like as many as 24...games...egads...how their achilles stay attached is beyond moi...

Madonna says she is gay now, is that how it works?...

Ye is gonna branch out and buy Parler...one of them conservative web net thangs...which has been struggling...mostly cuz Facebook and Twitter did some restricting on him...hmmm, isn't that what Fonny did, too?...

Today...yup today...YOU can buy a hearing aid directly off the store shelves...what?...

Stanley Tucci was in Sardinia last night...well, not last night...but, his show aired last nite in Sardinia...there you go...the island looks like wow...anyone gone there?...

Time for some change...we stopped at Mickey D's for some breakfast sandwiches...two biscuit ones and two hash browns...get this...the cost was $17.79!!!!...last time...cheaper at Starbucks...and Carl's Jr...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
