Have Mercy

You ever been in the path of one of those Floridian storms?...we were once...in Cocoa Beach...and the sky turned absolutely BLACK...at 11 am!...really terrifying...we were lucky...missed us...the west coast of the state was not yesterday...Ft Myers the key...Naples...category 4 is horrific...thinking back to the PNW's Columbus Day Storm...which was a Cat 3...and that was bad enough...right?...for those of you old enough and lived in that area...weatherman Horse here, those waters surrounding Florida are way too warm...all I can say, is have mercy on those who have to rebuild...and those who lost their lives...

One of my constants rags, is how often the game of football is affected by the defender tackling with his head...the helmet...for which is in constant change to protect the user!...thing is, it has become more of a weapon, too...Miami's Tua got hammered that way in last weekends game...and was obviously seeing stars...should have been pulled immediately...yet, their 'doctors' deemed him OK to keep playing...give me a break...last nite in the SDSU/Boise game...a spearing tackle took out the Aztec QB...after review, the upstairs 'experts' deemed it a legal hit...the replay...was conclusive to me...a direct head to head hit...wonder who was making the decision up above...and I am not talking GOD...my feeling is that if we are going that direction, let's return to leather helmets...my wager is that we would not have ONE spearing tackle...insane...and have mercy on those hit...

The Friars lost a crucial game at home to the White Sox...c'mon boys...put on your big boy pants and finish this season off...right...

Ah, it is October...my fav month...for a myriad of reasons...one is that it is Native Americans Day...used to complain that the Blacks got a whole month...but, beggars can't be choosy, I reckon...Halloween?...in the past, loved the parties...now, the age thing gets in the way...when we think of skeletons, it is of peops we knew...stop that Horse...and for you heathens, you probably celebrate Chris Columbus...who thought he landed in the West Indies...and we are now, Indians, thank you very much you foo...have mercy...

My new birthday driver came...ah, not a chauffeur...but a PXG beauty...well, last year's model...half price...it will be a week, before I test the hog out...3 weeks without hacking seems like eternity...
