The season wrapt...for both the Friars and Yankees...as the better teams won...sorry to say this, but it is true...as the Phillies and Astros battle it out for the World Series Crown...I can only talk SD...but, the team almost over produced...especially after the news of Jr with his roids...stupid act...the final 2 games in Philadelphia, not the best managed games...this guy Melvin, would be great if he had all the horses...he doesn't yet...he had to make some substitutions, that he didn't...BTW, it would not have guaranteed a win, but a chance...the way we were, no chance...nevertheless, I have told you repeatedly, we are a year away...still feel that...BUT, need Jr back and another 2 SP's...so, the Horse packs his Friar gear away...for the next one...

Kind of surprised by what we saw at the Adam Lambert concert last eve...my expectations were a lot of youngins, screaming their foo heads off...no, it was a much older crowd...weird...Idol fans, I reckon...as it has been 12 years since he was on and got mysteriously beat...listen, he has a unique, great voice...sang songs we had no idea what they were...most of them...gyrated with a couple of guys, most of the nite...on stage...it was so hot in the arena, and we left a bit early...C+?...

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
