Why Thursday?

In keeping with my NEW schedule of things...the 'WHY?' Thursday...we shall ask the question that may or may not have an answer...in weeks past, the point in question has drawn little interest, judging by the responses...thus, I guess I am doing this for myself...hope not...it is to make us all think a tad bit deeper...

Our jaunt yesterday was to the massive PGA Store...and there were at least a couple of hundred putters lined up...like sticks, not people...everything you could imagine...a number of stations to try out clubs, too...and for fashion, a monster amount of clothing...it really is a must stop of you are in the desert...

Tonight we are going to the weekly Palm Springs nite walk...well, called something like that...Thursdays...

They have lots of things around here...just takes a while, via the car...to get anywhere...and believe me. there are loads of folk here, right now...BTW, I can't believe the number of golf communities EVERYWHERE!...this is a Mecca...if you think people don't have money, come here and you will think otherwise...many, if not most, are 2nd homes...

This time...the Friars lost in OT to the Bums...drat...lordy, by the lofty score of one-nil...one more today with LA...and...over in the other coast...Aaron Judge finally hit his 61st dinger...coo...

My FF team, has a chance this week...my opponent is also winless...but, yes, he is favored...probably a 10 yr old kid...why did I do this?...

The storm...was brutal for western Florida...Ian...I'm telling you, those waters are soooo warm...

MTG is getting a Splitsville from her man....seems about right...he is filing, not her...

Have you heard of this before?...the Queens death was due to 'Old Age'...

So...I was reading the latest (to me) John Grisham book...so ticked...had no idea that it was 3 novellas...kept trying to tie them all together...and they are not tangent at all...that's it...I am divorcing myself from his stuff...any gooduns that I can switch to?...

The pool...where we have been every single morning...noodling with all...serious...everyone has a noodle...has music in the background, well, foreground...and for the 1st 2 days...it was 80's crap...who in this world of peeps would want or desire to listen to that?....yesterday, it was the 60's...superb...hope the same today...as we will hit the water again...

WHY?

With the relaxation of the Covid epidemic...and the masses get to congregate...at schools, churches, cinemas, malls, concerts, and at athletic events...but, something has been on the uptick...fights...amongst fans...all over the land...it's like trigger tempers everywhere...WHY?...does it have anything to do with the split in the political world?...perhaps, that people have been hunkered down so long, that they are just frustrated...what or why?...

The line...hmmm...OSU ten point dawgs to Utah....and the Ducks 17 point fav vs Stanford...?...

You know, got to figure the east coast has to be a mess this next week...the games?...

Also, guess what?...the NBA is starting to play their games....egads...

Finally, the newsmen and women, who stay behind and video the storm...report from it...hope they get battle pay...
