The Forecast is Rain



The remnants of a hurricane...sounds odd, right?...coming our way, up from Mexico...to give us rain, well, scattered showers...whatever that means...the rain is here is different from our home town of Salem, Oregon...the intensity of it...moreso, the need of it...all of Cali would just lurve having Mother Nature dump a whole lot on the state...the forecast?...by 6 or 7 this am...we are seeing trickles of it now...of course, the local weather people have called for it, so many times...and it doesn't happen...WOLF!...

Let there be no doubt who was the better team last nite in LaLa Land...the Buffalo Bills were all that the pundits said they would be...and more...in a thorough beat down of the defending NFL champs, the LA Rams...the diff?...the outstanding line play, on both sides of the ball...called it wrong, it was not on Prime, but on Peacock...gosh, it takes a score card to just find out where these games are televised...

The Queen did indeed die yesterday...at the tender age of 96...man, she was on their thrown for 70 years!...imagine...I am one that questions all that royalty business...BUT...by all reports, she was a great one...her son Charles (73) is now King...and here we go again...12 days of mourning...

The Bums invade Petco Park tonight...for a set...as they are highly favored to win here...to say that these are critical games for the Friars, is an understatement...the one thing I see, is that Manaea is not in the rotation...not sure who is taking his place...might it be by relief corp committee?...I dunno...acc to the weather peops, it is to be raining all day...hmmm, suspended one maybe?...do we even have a tarp?...ha ha...

Has football betting taken over table betting in the casinos?...for so many people that don't have much scratch, what they do have...they gamble...for moi, I much prefer to watch the collegiates go at it...than the Pros...without $ on the outcome...pride,, baby, pride...win or lose, I am still a Duck fan...have a feeling that this season might be a test...Bevo fans?...this could be a nice one for you...and finally, the Trojan fervor could be for real...big time...

This is the last weekend for the hosses out at Del Mar...so, either tomorrow or Sunday, I have to wander up there...got some tix to cash...

I tried to figure out who was playing who...in football in Oregon...the scores...that whole system of realignment is a complete mess...and it has changed way too often...KISS, those who are in charge...you mucked it up...

Have you sat back and marveled at the way we communicate?...the unbelievable computers...the wondrous cell phones...the instant connections to others, and services...we get spoiled if it isn't lightning speed...shoot, we used to wait for days...to talk to or write to...someone...and information?...in books, or encyclopedias...I bring this up, as I get frustrated if one of the spectacular devices is slow...man, slow down yourself, Horse...relax...

Harry and Meghan...Montecito neighbors of the good Dr...their kids should be Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet...Archie goes to the same school as Cyrus (the Great)...something like that...

It would be amiss of moi, if I didn't recognize my BFF Snooki, on his 75th birthday...quite an accomplishment...for all of his ups and downs...his setbacks in life...and he is still here ticking...we all are better for knowing the super senior...the living legend...the Irish elder...congrats, dude...pix here with his wife, Laurie...


I have no idea what this means...but on her cell phone...Boss Lady has for me as my ringtone 'I am the Gawd of hell fire!'...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ...
