News and the Social Media

When the sources are so different, it is amazing...!...there are hot topics galore, and it depends on...if you are reading (watching) the normal news sites...the newspapers...the AOL...the CBS,ABC, NBC, FOX, ah, you get me drift...their productions...or the social media ones...usually, they are very similar...not today...and why is this?...

For this topic, I will call the former as the Normal News...they are centered on King Charles, his speech to their parliament...odd watching him walk down the aisle and the blokes are hardly peering at him...like they are disgusted...just an observation...then, the other...Ukraine running Russia out of their country...which is a shocker to us all, I reckon...but, love it, absolutely love it...and then...the NFL, with all the ups and downs of week 1...where so many of the country bet on, and or, are part of the fantasy football phenomena...

Then, the latter...the social media...where they are spot on the why...why trump has been flown back to DC...in his golf attire..adorned by his golf shoes...speculations are out there...but, dang if I can't find ONE Normal News covering this...weird...some say that he has been arrested...some say he had a physical issue on the course, and he has been flown to Walter Reed Hospital...some just don't know and are waiting for the reasoning...

Oh well, we shall wait and see...

Moving on...

Thank you all for the kind words about our dog passing...you are so thoughtful...it is and still is, a tough thing...she was with us soooooo long...most all of you have gone through similar situations...

The Friars, like the rest of MLB, can't handle the Bums...who cruised yesterday and won the final...we have to fuggit about it and head on up north and getter done...

As I thought might happen, Nebraska did fire their HC Frost...3 games in...geez...he had no chance...his severance pay, I think is $15 million clams...it's a brutal business, that does pay well...

We did go out to Del Mar yesterday...as you know, the tix I had...and also a wonderful diversion...that place is first class...as are the hosses who run there...it was final day for the summer meet...

Used to be, America's team...the Dallas Cowboys...lost to TT and his Bucs...and also lost their QB Prescott, for 2 months...BTW, he was having a bad game...and the other...Brady was dang good, still...

My FF team?...lord...lost by a humongous score...got doubled...as GB's Aaron Rodgers says (again), 'it's only game 1, relax'...

Gotta close, it is a Monday, thus...a walk in the park...chasing that ball...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
