Here we sit, in 108* temp...man, but it is a DRY HEAT...so it is said...Indio...the desert...gosh, we sweat everywhere we go...house sitting...actually, it is funish...we were in the pool for a couple of hours already...noodling with like 10 others doing the same...can see us doing that most every day...duh...

The opening act was a trip to get groceries...at a humongous store...WinCo...nothing like this in San Diego...massive choices with aisles so wide, one could drive A COUPLE of golf carts thru, side by side...which, BTW, are in abundance here...and, obviously needed...think I recall that the Walmart is about as large...couple of blocks away from WinCo...the prices?...much lower here...why?...anyhoo, we are stocked up for the week...

The headline is for a pizza joint that the Morrises took us to...hidden in another Del Webb housing community...great pizza, that is second to Padingtons and Wallerys...and were offered something that I haven't heard of for like....DECADES!...no joke...One Dollar Beers...ah, $1!...BUCK BEERS!!!...real bottled beer...Rolling Rock...great stuff...makes me wonder if we should return prior to leaving to go back home...not that that is the driving force...but, a $1?...perhaps...

The Prez Cup was held by the USA...did not get to see the finals, as we were on the road...

My FF got drilled again...0-3...and after talking to the HC, did in fact fire the OC...the new one is to be searched out...a nationwide search is on....hear Scott Frost is available...

The Friars continued winning...now in 2nd for the wild card...in comes the Bums...don't look back, boys...

The NFL...Monday niter...Cowboys at Giants...JCC (Jimmy Crack Corn)...

Big Brother had a winner....good lord, the ONLY one I hoped that wouldn't win...
