Maybe Baby



This was a song by the immortal Buddy Holly...'Maybe Baby'...but I am using it as we question our trip up north in another week...

We are officially in the maybe stage of the Orygun trip...as we battle thru our dog's stuff...alteration to the meds...fingers crossed that this will work...and not cancel our final Beach Boys Concert...you know, we are groupies...

Watched a terrific flick on the infamous Woodstock Festival...how it came about and then, the happening...this is on Prime...were you there?...

Guess I am meandering about music this morning...saw a concert in video by Neil Young, set in Nashville in '05...at the old Ryman Theater...where we saw Little Big Town perform...is it 5 years ago?...back to Young, he was extraordinary...

The hot rumor out, is that when the FBI was raiding donny's pad at Mara-Lago, he was in the tunnel eating his Big Mac, Filet o Fish, XL French fries, and drinking a vanilla shake...just a rumor...

There is a bill being brought forth...in Cali...that nothing bet electric cars are to be sold in 2035...well, no petrol engine ones...so, every 200 miles one has to recharge the battery?...from SD, not sure if I can make it out of the state in 4 days...more clarification…banning cars that only run on petrol…so hybrids are cool…

During the off season of the NBA...these Pro-Am games, or whatever they are...the players go about and play in exhibition games...much to the chagrin of the owners...well, the OKC 1st round pick got his ankle busted trying to guard (avoid?) King James...and he, Gonzaga's Chet Holmgren, is out for the season...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... I keep asking this...what does Putin have on trump, anyway...it must be a formidable foible... Talk to me, kids... This ploy of the orange...to actually simulate a firing squa...

A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
