Crazy Love

This is a first, Crazy Horse recommends
Crazy Love...well, you have to be in the mood...it is one of them, head scratchers...why oh why?...cuz it's crazy love...now don't get this confused with the song by Poco, 'Crazy Love', as it is nowhere to be heard of in this...flick...set in the late 50's, ah, at first...don't want to give any of it away...as some of youse might have heard of it, already...it was hot news...and get this, it is a documentary...I know many of the Horse readers are thinking that I have finally lost it...dementia, or just gone crazy...you have gotten this far, so it is a happening in NYC (where else?)...to say it has so many twists and turns is an understatement...find this beaut on Prime Video...

I mentioned the group Poco...another under appreciated band...had a mellow sound that we, in my generation, grooved to...'Call it Love'...'Pickin up the Pieces'...see if you recognize some of these Poco band members...Randy Meisner, Richie Furay, Jim Messina, Timothy B Schmidt...just to name a few...typical come and go group of the era...fab...

The Friars...in a 2-1 win last nite...got dingers from the newbies, big 1B Bell (finally!) and Soto...and yes, the closer was other than the hippie dude...and we won...hip hip...the report is that 'they' are going to do the 'closer by committee' routine...OK...

We are back to having cooler nites...I did not say cold...thus, the windows and doors are open...and the fresh marina air blows on us...way way cool, ah, cooler...

The PGA BMW Champ is a tight one...so many good players, at the top...fun to watch...Cantley, Schauffle, Scheffler, Scott, so many a stroke or two back...wide wide open...NBC...

Repulsive...if a true pix...Dr (?) Oz, bending down and kissing trump's star, somewhere...this just hast to be a joke, right?...

Maybe I wasn't too far off base, when I jested about Ben and JLo having a tour of getting married throughout the country...just after NY, they 'tied' the knot again in Georgia...well, maybe, they think that is another country and is justified...bonafide...stay tuned LaLa Land, you MUST be next...the sultans of matrimony...

My how times have changed...when the Beatles played Shea Stadium in '65...they played like 5 or 6 tunes...then left...reminded me of when we saw Chuck Berry, who did less than that...Cher did an hour, but half of that was vid of her and Sonny, and the current hit she had?...lip-synced...Eddy Arnold, in Reno, fell off his stool...Mickey Dolenz, came out with some grungey looking whatever's, and played nothing from the Monkees...the topper?...was the 60's hippie show...where the group names were the same, and whomever still survived, did the singing...Three Dog Night, was the One Dog Night...

Can you explain to moi, why in Texas...they are banning the book 'The Diary of Anne Frank?'...

Perhaps, I complain about the mediocrity of the Friars too much...when I see the way of the Yankees right now...I should be quiet...

I have to brag about our latest grandson...he is such a cutie...Caspian Cook Shepard...congrats, kids...
