Realignment?

Absurdity...that's what I call it...the schools...the colleges and universities...the constant need for change of the leagues that the sports teams play in...based on?...size, location, dominance (?)...and other things...I reckon'...whatever...uniformity is out the window...fairness?...hardly...ethnicity?...some...money?...in the upper levels, for sure...

Let's talk the fledging Pac 12...the LaLa schools, UCLA and USC are bolting to form part of the now new Big 10...which will have 16 in it...in 2024...which leaves the west coast league at 10...possible shifting to go on there?...names such as Boise St and San Diego St, could move in...however, is it the end of the departures of the west?...like is Oregon gonna follow the lead?...this is all based on $...and football...the most egregious sport of colleges there is...the lack of leadership from the very group that was hired to control this carnage, is the NCAA...the leagues are in shambles...all chasing more scratch...the schools' presidents?...once a major part of all decisions, too...are just part of the ride now...it is, for better words amiss, a mess...

On the lower level...like in the high schools...the format is about the same...not here in Cali, but back in me home town of lil Salem, Oregon...for a starter...then, the state in general...Salem has 6 public high schools, and yet one of them, is in another league from the other 5...woaah...perhaps, some realignment needed?...duh...imagine the feeling of the kids there...once, back when...the Salem schools were part of a league that featured the schools in the area combined...the Valley...that has been changed so often, that there is no rivalry or tradition whatsoever...a shame...those who make the decisions are way off base...trying to please everyone, and in the process, no one...what is it, every 3 or 4 years, a NEW alignment comes forth...balderdash...

Yeah so, Salem was aligned in the Valley...then to the schools over the mountain range in Bend and Redmond...then to themselves only (minus the one)...now with the schools down in Medford area...give them a break...nothing like 5-6 hour bus rides...

Lost in all of these situations is leadership...somebody, or somebodies, who stand up and say 'that's the way it is'...for a substantial period of time...let's say 10 years...give it some time to gel...and have enough power to stop any movement in that time period...period...

Of course, just follow the lack of the above...when it comes to players of all sports, transferring willy nilly....it is now a joke...which breeds cheating...and the list goes on...and on...and on...get a hold on it...establish a board with power...stick with it...and clean all these messes up...it can be done...

Moving on...

The Pads lost to the Bums, 3-1...no hitting is a curse...these are big games for us...thus far, advantage LaLa...

Talking about player movement...the NBA leads the pros in that category...here you have Kevin Durant, who has a 4 year multi-million $ one...and is demanding a trade...willy nilly...lord...how'd you like to coach this guy?...in simpler terms, these pro athletes are so overpaid it is not funny...

There was a talky on the tele about the NBA free agent signing period...KD was the hot topic...all the places that may fit for him, money wise and team wise...this show was for like 3 or 4 hours...not once did the pundits mention the Blazers...not once...

Not fair...you do realize when you golf with hacks like me...you will spend significant time, searching for errant tee shots...it is understood, and don't you dare shun your responsibility...

Howard Stern running for Prez?...OK, why not...donny did and won...so, anyone can...right?....what party is the dude in?...
