'Every sha la la, every woah ah o'....lyrics of a song by the one and only Karen Carpenter...our era, kids...as we were groovin to some music while prepping our dinner last eve...via YouTube...up popped the 'Best of the Carpenters'...man, she was dynamite, gone way too soon...you see, I am one of those cats, who digs the oldies...the lyrics, the melodies...what is so missing nowadays...'shooby doo lang lang'...where can you get words like that?...ha ha...you know what I am saying...yea, I am all over the music scene...digging on jazz, too...what?...

This is the weekend...so, I gots time to write to you in the am...the golf will be sketchy this next 2 weeks, as the Junior World Golf is out at Singing Hills, with all the helicoptering parents hovering about...a true statement...and we are going on a Cosmo trip up the north coastline...to see the kids and camp out at Pismo...one of our fav sites in the World...a bit dramatic...

How about Dem Padres!...got 2 vs the Giants...6-3, as our newly named All Star 3B, Manny Machado, hit another HR...a 3 run blast that got us going...Machado, is our grandson Cy's fav...he must be tickled...

The Coup Committee interviewed trump's lead attorney for 8.5 hours yesterday, behind closed doors...he corroborated what Cassidy said earlier...you just know donny will be calling him 'weak, and I hardly knew him'...to miss out on any testifying, Rudy Guliani, has fallen severely ill...OK, he will do anything to not stand up...and talk...what a piece of you know what...next, he will claim he has dementia...you just watch, he will try everything he can think up...if he can still think...

Every town (city?) in Scotland has a golf course?...is that true?...a dream destination, then...some as few as 7-9 holes I hear...man, it must be beautiful from the air...

Tonight we have another Rady at the Bay concert...music from Harlem...have no idea what this is all about, but does sound interesting...will I know any of the songs?...'groovin'...doubt it...

Time to test the waters...why on earth are the prices of petrol falling?...as Cali just RAISED the taxes on it, 3 cents...there was this promise, or conjecture, or whatever...that the Cali government was going to suspend the taxes to keep the price down for all us peons...BTW, is there a better word for the commoner, than peon?...how is it in YOUR state?...

Paulie of the Sopranos, has passed on...the age?...79...Tony Sirico...man, that was a very impactful series...so well written, until the final episode...which was perfectly awful...as bad as the final Seinfeld one...

Boss Lady, going back to last nite's din din...did the gravy for the spaghetti...and it rivaled Larry Gahr's (the Greyhound)...her trick ingredient?...pepperoni...match that, LG...

Netflix is adding a newish audio link to some of their productions...spatial something...ah, why not Dolby Atmos?...let's stay in uniformity...where we all can hear the sound the same...

Speaking of uniforms, the Padres wore their newbies last eve...OMG, this is the WORST of all time...EVER!...in sports...all sports...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed... In data released by trump's own government...the largest groups of detainees...the Icetapo's achievement of rounding up people...are not the ones with ANY CRIMINAL RECORD , but, 'illeg...
