Cosmo after Dark


This is Cosmo after dark...as we bask in a fire, a few glasses of the bubbly...ah, shorties...around the campfire...the weather is perfect, no need for the AC...we biked about the city...found this bodacious cinnamon roll site...obviously a treasured spot, as they run it like the Soup Nazi, see Seinfeld...this am, we dine on 2...today, we continue our search for the perfect fish San...it’s out there, we just have to find it...one more day here...then off to Santa Barbara...

The home run derby...the Soto kid won...he a future Friar?...talk about prayers...if, and that would be the word...we would be a real factor...

The All Star game...it has developed into a bit much...the red carpet...the hoopla...leave it alone...they even tweaked it if it ends tied...so what?...

The Horse continues to make rookie mistakes with Cosmo...today’s item was hooking up the water...filled er up, then thought I turned it off...but, I turned it all the way up...our grounds are now wet...Boss not happy...

Speaking of Soto, the reality is he will be a Yankee or Bum...what extra tax?...they just pay the best whatever they want...think there is imbalance in sports?...

Extreme heat in Britain...CBS kinda hit the mark, a year ago...talking about the wines they now make...it has changed...global warming?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
