Thy Pillow

We spend a lifetime searching for a perfect...pillow...goose feathers...extreme foam...memory foam...unknown feathers...synthetic...non synthetic...down?...they even make 'em for side sleepers, back sleepers...are there tummy sleepers?... you've seen the ads...made in the USA...imported from China (what isn't?)...the Dr's say to replace them every year...well, some Dr's...shoot, I think I had the same pillow for all my growing up period...quit it, 'til I was 18...some cost in excess of $100...some are 2 for $15...the Horse has come up with the solution...get ours at Costco, 2 for whatever the cost is...not more than $30...replace them every year...believe me, we have tried them all...

Day 5 of the Coup Committee...showed that trump tried in vain to get the DOJ to go along with his theory of de-Constitution...the lawyers were not buying it...more evidence of improper use of the presidency...like we don't have enough already...forevers, you have to look at some of this...he has used you...over and over...and over...where's the log? (Oh Brother Where Art Thou?)...

A boggle to me brain...you have one of the best pitchers going in the game (Musgrove)...just coming off of Covid...he is doing well for 5 or so...is now sweating profusely...Covid zaps your strength...and you leave him in, to give up two home runs...6 runs...c'mon, you can't be that stupid, can you?...Padres...hello...

I mentioned the bobble head last blog...and lo and behold, the Friars honored their 2B, Jake Cronenworth, with one last nite...as a giveaway for the patrons...the Crone Zone...ah ha, but the Mgr was having a bad day, er game...see above...and did the unthinkable...did not play Jake at all in the game...'I didn't know it was his day...my bad'...arguably, our best hitter, on his nite, and he sits...WTF?...

The Senate passed a gun reformation bill...for the first time in 30 years...15 Republicans actually voted for it...ie, Mitch and Lindsey...it's a little, not a lot...but a start in the right (left?) direction...now goes to the House, and if that goes thru...to Prez B...for his signature...

Thinking back to the headline...we sleep 1/3rd of our lifetime...the bed is essential, right?...thy pillow, the mattress, the sheets, the blanket...you have a TV in your bedroom?...black out shades?...water on your night stand?...alarm clock?...spouse by your side?...ear plugs?...ha ha...

We had our eyes checked...and lo and behold, the contacts that I got...oh my...it's like when I first got glasses, back in high school...I COULD SEE!...especially colors...Boss's haven't changed in almost 50 years...how does that work?...

I did all the thangs it said to speed up my Mac...and it worketh...I am flying today...amazing...

For all the bragging I did yesterday, we did in fact, turn our AC on...well, it fired right up...and it was grand...

Throwing who under the bus?...these fake elector college dudes...the trump ones...really existed...and the list to be given to VP Pence, if he chose to use them...was reportedly carried by US Senator Ron Johnson, of Wisconsin...he says is wasn't him, but Pennsylvania Congressman Mike Kelly...well, somebody had 'em...did Pence ever get the list?...

I dunno...these Congressionals who sought pardons from trump...why would they ask for one?...just to be on the safe side?...the known names are...Gaetz, Brooks, Biggs, Gohmert, Perry....and also to be added, Gosar, Jordan, and your fave, MT Greene...hmmm...and get this...Brooks may be a talking...to the Committee...hang on to your hair piece...

Now this...Nantucket...the beach in Massachusetts...is having a hotly debated time about...women that are going topless on their beach...hmmm...it is a divided community on the 'rights' to do so...for sure, the Horse is NOT going to take sides on this scarcely known issue, outside of the NE...the Horse can see both sides of the conundrum...

The NBA Draft was last nite...'Arvitas Zabonis'...never forget that name, by the Blazers...back when we were eating lunch...must have been at camp for North High...not many foreigners were drafted back then...little did we know at that time, he would eventually be a staple in the goings on for PDX...too bad, we couldn't have had him during his prime...recall this, Chuck?...

The highlight for the Padre game last eve?...a fan (crazed) dashed onto the field and ran all over...out doing the security guys...then went down and was mobbed...the TV caught the beginning of it...the social network got the rest...of course...Dude, was that you?...he gets fined, put in the pokey, and gets a lifetime ban, right?...am I making this up?...the penalty that is...

To be fair and impartial...FOX's Tucker (rhymes with?) Carlson, had little to talk about the Coup Committee, but did want to blab about VP Kamala Harris...what part did she have to do with the Coup, Tucker?...Hannity still wants to bring up the Hillary texts...there you go...even Steven...

No work (golf) today...as both courses are closed due to outside based tournaments...but, the par 3 course is wide open for us members...the driving range is closed, too...no carts, either...what would donny do?...
