Hello, It's Me

Why not start with one of my fav songs of the early 70's...by Todd Rundgren...'Hello, It's Me'...I've thought about us for a long long time...you might know him from his hit 'I Saw the Light'...or, maybe you just weren't hip in that time period...and don't even know the bloke...that's OK...these were two of his best, from the incredible 'Something/Anything' vinyl of '72...not kidding ya, try to find it...it's worth the effort...trust the Horse...

I am trying to figure the reasoning for the movement from the PGA Tour to the Saudi one...two more have signed on...DeChamboo and the oh so not likable Patrick Reed...of course, the $...but the leader and spokesperson for it, Greg Norman...is an arse...funded from Saudi Arabian money?...try their stance on equality on for size...yea, I know it's just golf...but, aren't all these guys who have moved to it, can't compete on the PGA Tour anymore...at least win?...I guess it is like a step after the PGA Tour, and before the Senior Tour...hmmm...hasta la vista, baby...

The Primaries around the country...nothing that changed the landscape...perhaps, in SF, where there was definite lack of confidence vote for their DA...

Speaking of lack of confidence...the Angels of Anaheim...cocooned in a 12 game losing streak...figured it out why...fired their manager, Joe Maddon...had to be him...yes, I am the one, that says...there is less coaching in that sport than any of them...change a pitcher...juggle the lineup...shift on D...bunt...ah, what else?...yell at the ump...yea, it was Joe's fault...

The Padres turned it around, with a convincing 7-0 shutout of them Mets...Yu was spot on...and for kickers, we finally got Adrian Morejon back from the IR, and he pitched the last 2 innings, quite nicely, thank you...

Boz...simply amazing...still...the nite was perfect...he had a great time, with his vocals...worth the trip to see him perform, as always...and Dude, Ruth asked about ya...

When we returned back to the home...we were greeted with this horrific sight...our kitchen was all barricaded...there was a leak from above...and one thing that makes this vertical living building shake...is the possibility of a leak...water leak...so, for the next set of days, there will be a hole cut out of our ceiling...already done...a tent around the kitchen, to dry it out, in the process...a plumber to replace a pipe...today?...then another company to redo the ceiling...not yet...and finally, some company to repaint the ceiling...FOUR letter word...

Game 3 (finally) for the NBA...Golden St in Boston...the Celtics are favored by3.5...gosh, it all depends on two things...which team is hitting the 3 ball...and if Draymond Green doesn't get tossed....well, add number 3...if Scott Foster is reffing...

About the era of Todd Rundgren, was the dynamic duo of Seals and Crofts...'Summer Breeze'...well, one of them, Jim Seals, just past at the age of 80...wish I had better news...well, Dash Crofts is still alive...
