Entering Normalcy


Alas, viewing my upcoming week's calendar...something popped out so vividly...nothing extraordinaire on it!...ah, other than getting our kitchen back for use, perhaps, by Monday eve...3 days of golf...flag day on Tuesday...seems like a good one on the horizon...there are so many things, we take for granted...normalcy is one...including a week of 70 degree temp...kinda normal...I suppose this is why we moved down here...nuttin' too high, nuttin' too low...

Well, petrol prices are high...the worst?...LA...as we had to fill up during the trip...at least a buck and half higher than anywhere...low gas prices?...any other state than Cali...BTW, Sammi is back to being 'normal'...man, I do not talk dawg...

You see the price tag on the winner of the 54 hole event on the Norman Tour?...over $4 million clams...a past winner of the Masters, and a long lost competitive golfer in the PGA Tour, Charl Schwartzel...that would be like winning the lottery for you or I...well, I...good for him...and this whole golf world is a buzzing...next week, the Snake brings his guys up to Oregon for another event...they call this the LIV Tour...54?...or, Lost in Virtue...actually, it is for the Roman numeral 54...54 hole tourneys...and if some bloke scores a 54 he wins the entire country of Iraq...oh yea, the dude who came in last...24 over par...really...won $120,000...

Idaho...for some odd reason, I find it hard to imagine the site of a Pride Event...but there was one scheduled...and lo and behold...a very right wing organization was in place to disrupt it...and in fact, there were 31 members of said group arrested...in battle gear...yea, no, I don't understand some people...the why's...

I told you yesterday about the bizarre setup of a doubleheader in baseball out at Petco...anyhoo, the Pads won the first, tied up the Bums for the top...and then lost the 2nd and fall a 1/2 game back...my issue?...2 players and 2 coaches out...for Covid...ie, the manager and one of the SP's...won't be surprised if others test positive today....hang on to your scratch before you bet on this game...

The PGA is up in Canada...where the final group has some big ones...Rory, Tony Finau, and JT...however, playing for a lot less $ than the LIV guys are...just has to be an issue...hate Norman...

Say it isn't so, KEZI...but they are actually announcing and televising vid spots of SUMMER HIGH SCHOOL HOOPS!...what?...c'mon, folks, let's calm down...it is summer ball...JCC?...'listen Coach Smith, we are going to have to let you go, you lost too many summer games...'...

Jamie Lee Curtis...remember her?...actress...had a Tweet today that caught me eye...something like this, 'why are there after parties, and pre-functions?...can' there just be one party and that's it?'....well, Ms Curtis...it depends on the function itself...you see, the in crowd wants to be by themselves...and we are always noticing the in crowd...we want to be in the in crowd...I myself developed an in crowd...thinking about giving out secret handshakes...you elders, probably called these 'speak easys'...there was even a pop song written about 'The In Crowd', by Dobie Gray...who actually broke the code and talked and sang about his affiliation with the 'In Crowd'...I hope this answers your question, Ms Curtis...

Talking about older songs...'I Need Your Lovin'...by Don Gardner and Dee Dee Ford...love this...and now am tracking a vinyl of theirs...want it bad...er, badly...kind of jazz and kind of pop...1962...hey, Snooki called last eve and was grooving to the hits of 60-63...wonder if he stumbled on this one?...I gahr-on-tee you will get up and boogie when you play this song...there is an extended version, that the radio stations refused to spin, cuz it was too long...

Canada has their petrol prices at $8 bucks a gallon...damn that Prez Biden....wait, he has no jurisdiction there, does he?...

You ever heard of Ramsay Hunt Syndrome?...a rare condition that paralyzes half of the face...syndromes are a series of symptoms...this has come up nationally, as the Biebs has it...so...here we go...it occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near one of your ears...it also is caused by the same virus that causes chickenpox...it's like it lies dormant....and then appears...weird...

Well now, I have covered a lot of ground today...let's hope that something triggers your brain...now, where is that Master Suduko?...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... We are NOT aligned with Putin...WE ARE NOT!...trump is ...which begs a different query...how much longer can this idiocy go on?... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
