Chaos



At times. it seems like I write in total frustrations...knocking my head against a wall...knowing that the thing that confuses me so, will not get altered...that there are so many Congressionals that are held captive by the NRA and their lobbyists...that they don't even vote the way of their constituents...that they go into a block system and that is it...and we say we have the best system in the world...perhaps, not...

Another mass shooting...at a hospital of all places...guess I shouldn't be that shocked, as the grade school seemed the lowest of all...shoot, we had an attempted coup on our very own Capitol...and that still...did not, or does not...deter the Congressionals...

It gets worse...the killer in the hospital was targeting his doctor that operated on him!...

I was reading a response on social network, where a student at UCLA...university in LA...was debating his professor's right wing approach to what is happening in these times...in detail...what she was telling her students...'it's not the guns'...you know the drill...this is a state owned school, mind you...is this healthy?...how might she grade those who might disagree with her?...on and on...

Just a sidelight...my worst teachers ever, that I ran into...were in college...hands down...the worst...no where close to the ones in grade school and up towards the graduating days...of high school...is that still the case?...or isolated?...

The Padres...oh my...lost all 3 in Saint Looey, which I feared...and now in Milwaukee, where we are normally not too successful, either...need some hits...need some runs...need need need some O...so, we are kinda lucky, too...as Pitt went into LaLa and swept the Bums...fire the manager!...

The NBA finals start tonight in the Bay Area...saw some unbelievable pundit stuff, that the Celtics are 86% fav...what?...take that bet and run...barring key injuries, I see the Warriors in 6...unless, ref Scott Foster has too many of the games...then, all bets off...

So, the movie 'star' Johnny Depp won his defamation case against his old lover...wait, wife...they were hitched for 5 years...got $15 million dollars...and she won $2 million in a countersuit...OMG!...what a waste of court time...rats arse...thinking about suing Boss for $1 million...hey, it's the new thang...go ahead, sue your spouse for scratch...you gotta be kidding me...

Did I tell ya, I finally tested negative for the bloody Covid?...it's a happy day...

LeBron James has finally become a billionaire...not bad for another high school grad...who needs college?...KyK is worth more than that...and she was home schooled by mother K...bet she was a great teacher...'where are my flash cards?'...

There have been 20 mass shootings in the USA, since the Uvalde Massacre...

According to The NY Times, if you drank a moderate amount of coffee a day (1.5 to 3.5 cups) your were up to 30% less likely to die, than if you didn't drink coffee...during the duration of your drinking period...ah, got that?...

According to the Horse, if you drink moderate amounts of good bourbon (1-3 glasses) you are less likely to overeat...this is a scientific study over the past 10 years...(or longer)...

I just happened on the golf match between the QB's...dang it all, it was fun...Rogers/TT won it on a putt...had to be Vegas, right?...

                            All I want for Xmas is a flak jacket...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
