Taking it to the Streets



Ah, yes, the wondrous Doobies...that may have some awkward connotations, right?...the Horse is talking the group...and their song 'Taking it to the Streets'...as the protest of the 'leaked memo' where the SCOTUS could be heading soon...will happen today, all over the USA...let me know if it happens in YOUR town or city...

What is the difference between 'em?...the town and the city....one of those gray areas of definition...BUT, the city usually refers to a bigger area...probably in numbers pf people...and or land...recall Sgt Joe Friday, referring to LA as 'the city?'...Dragnet...however, I do recall Petula Clark singing about going 'Downtown'...was that NYC?...so, El Cajon is a town, and San Diego is a city?...I dunno, kids...I think the peops in El Cajon think they have a city, too...then why do some call those from the city, 'townies?'...not 'cityites'...

How about them Padres!...go into Hotlanta and get game 1...scoring 11 times...Cano is now aboard, wonder where he is gonna fit and how soon?...

The Dubs won the series over the Grizzlies...must say, that GS is more of a finesse team...than almost all of the rest of the league...I dig that...and now await the winner of the Mavs/Suns...where the home team has won every time...and the final game is in Phoenix...BUT, something tells me that the Doncic train might upset the locals...

Weird news this am...as some sources are saying that there was a mass shooting outside of the Milwaukee arena after the Celtics/Bucks game last eve...?...like 27 injured?...some of my sources have said nuttin'...some say 3 shot...ah, what is going on?...

Family Reunion...must say that it is interesting that ours was called without my input...which should tell me something...right?...it is scheduled when we can't make it...I think they had one a couple of years back and it was the same type of thing...and then they say we are boycotting...or, the blackballing of the Horse is obvious...oh well, it is what it is...party on, clan, without us...

OK, the prime rib roast...that NO ONE commented on...none...zilch...zero...nada...I did the reversal thang on it...cooked it for 3 hours at 215*...then turned the oven up to 500*, as the roast was resting...5 minutes in the extreme heat for a crunch...divine!...even BL lurved it...

Gonna leave you with this today...a CNN report...'Do we bathe too often?'...like shower or baths...Gallup poll (you know my feelings about polls) said that in the 50's, 30% of the people bathed daily...does that mean 70% stunk?...nowadays, this report said that we do, indeed, bathe too often...a little dirt is good for us...or sweat...or, whatever...balderdash...fuggit about it...you get in the shower (or tub) and clean yourself up...you hear?...and I mean each and every day...the Horse edict...

The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting...
