WALK OFF



There is this slang term for a winning run in beisbol....it is termed 'Walk Off'...which ends the game for the home team...up front, let's tell you that the Padres WON the overtime game vs the Bloody Bums, via that method...tied up the series at one each...let's get into the OT thang...that MLB has been using for a couple of years now...tested in the minors prior...

To stop the potential 20 innings of tied up games, the OT rule was installed...that in the 10th inning, the play would start with the last out of the 9th, on 2nd base...kind of the version of OT that the collegiate football uses, starting a series on the 20 yd line...got it?...

LA first...the key play was a fly ball to LF, that our guy, Profar, caught and threw their runner out, trying to advance to 3rd...huge play...ZERO runs scored by the Bums...SD, next...what we rarely did last season when in this position...a new manager, and a new outlook...bunted the runner to 3rd...and then, the batter, Nola, hit a fly ball to mid center, that scored the runner...game over...'Walk Off!'...BTW, this OT rule will NOT be used in post season playoffs this season...?...

The decider this afternoon for this matchup...LA's Kershaw, and SD's Manaea...should be a dandy...

You see the video of the pro golfer in Norleans, while he was attempting a miracle shot from the water...a gator was lurking...then went under and approached the dude?...no way, would the Horse ever get in that agua...alas, no harm done...but...they be hungry...

Watched some playoff hoops in the NBA...as the Mavs lost to whomever on just an abysmal coaching job by Jason Kidd at the end of it...what on earth was he drawing up?...and was tickled big time, as another non-coach, Steve Nash, of the Nets, got hog tied by anyone else in the biz...and the Nets lost their 3rd straight...I will give him this, coaching Kyrie has to be a nightmare...one on one, and talk about ugly play...

Went on a bike ride yesterday am...there were so many people out, it was truly amazing...I know there is a convention going on, for what I do not know...but people walking, riding, sauntering, like everywhere...all over the city...it is nice to see, well, the weather is warm...sun out...

13 years of matrimony, or living together...ah, whatever...Johnny Depp and Amber Heard...had to be a battle of the ages...now, I can see a night of turbulence, but 13 years?...woah...

2 spring collegiate football games that people are talking about...USC's and Oregon's...two new coaches...two new different philosophies...very excited fans...BUT, they do NOT play each other this season, well, the regular season...USC has the softest schedule I have ever seen...the only tuff one (outside of the Beavers) is the last, with Notre Dame...Oregon starts right off with Georgia...hello...

If you wanna be seen...if you are anyone...yea YOU...get on out to Coachella...who cares who is performing, that is NOT the issue...YOU want to be photographed...just a wild guess that the KFam will be there...

Politicians talk about this...they promise this and that...both sides of the line...all over this country...The Homeless...but NOBODY has an answer...not one elected official...ANYWHERE...it is a rampant problem, and will not go away....and notice this...the Prez candy people, don't even bring it up...I mean, why not?...they don't ever, well, seldom, do what they promise anyhoo...

I am repeating myself...two of the greatest non-political minds agree on this...Larry Gahr, and the Horse...that there should be a 3rd party in the political arena...of those who are NOT ultra conservative and ultra liberal...those of US who are in the middle...how about calling that the CORPUS party?...you are either a Democrat, Republican, or Corpus...

Speaking of nonsense...trump had another revival, and went off on flushing toilets, that do not...ha ha...in Ohio...where he was asked to perform and endorse another forever...what he needs to do, is go save his right hand woman, Marjorie Taylor Greene...who was dumbfounded by the question of who the Proud Boys were....as she was pictured in the middle of them...'who are you guys, anyhow?'...

Not sure if there is some hidden meaning here...but this April 24, is 'The National Pig(s) in a Blanket Day'...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The Ignominy

So much for diplomacy ... the absolute embarrassment by the current President of the US...his actions in 'hosting' the Ukranian President Zelensky ... as it turned out, a highly visual representation of bullying by trump...the manners and methodology that he uses on people...aligned with his arse kissers, waiting their turn to take potshots at Zelenksy...all well orchestrated ...it was the ULTIMATE IGNOMINY of our country's 'leader'...unfortunately, for us, too...as somehow we are connected to that ogre...in reality, we are not... hoping the rest of the World can see that...here are samples of the headlines throughout that depict the sentiment of the slaughter... A Trial, Indeed

The revenge tour is ramping up ...as we gawk at the unchecked moves by trump ...even SCOTUS , the last leg of justice, is wobbling beneath his demands... this country is in disarray ...I wish I could give you better news... The unsightly attack of one of his Icetapo behemoths, on a lady in New York...taking her to the ground...an example of the uncontrolled behavior of that organization...guess that is what you call the group... simply, out of control, with NO LIMITS of force ...sad...and disgusting... The indictment of his former FBI head, James Comey ...for lying (imagine that from a legendary liar, trump) to Congress...this court case is needed for the country...to show the fallacy of the regime that is running rampant all over the land...it needs to be a BIG STAGE! ... A trial, indeed...
