The Winner at the Masters


As I have been saying all week, there is no better golf tournament than the one going on right now...at the Masters...the prized trophy of all time...you win, and you are etched in the history of the game...way, way cool...hallowed grounds...takes a win and some wonderful past play in the T...to even get into the field...this year?...the young guns are carving their names out...as the ones to catch on day 4...Scottie Scheffler (USA), Cam Smith (Australia), Sungjae Im (South Korea), Shane Lowery (Ireland), the leaders...also, as I have been telling the locals, that the one that has the greatest chance is probably Cam Smith...as he is an extraordinary putter of the rock...but, c'mon, USA USA USA...

Tiger had one of the more woeful days in his stay at Augusta...he was even confused as to his score...ha ha...in an interview after the round...couldn't putt (join the club)...man, with the way he walks, it is amazing he is out there trying...and for the crowning glory, his final round he is paired with my own golfing buddies favorite (NOT!) Jon Rahm...

The home...it was fun at the re-emergence of the amenity room make over...it is definitely an improvement...I will say...and after seemingly a year to get er done...and likewise, the vote for it's 'new name'...all were unveiled last nite at the gala event...it has been christened as 'The Marina Room'. BTW, that was the Boss Lady's entry. however, no mention of that...disappointing, as there must have been others doing the same...boo...AND, the same for the conference room, that the Horse had his entry as 'The Summit'...but after that lengthy process, the powers to be ended up with the catchy name...'The Conference Room'...dancing, food, beverages, and a too late start...6pm, and the home was out by 9....ha ha...4pm organizers, 4 pm...these are elders you are dealing with...

The mighty Padres got game 3 in Arizona...not as dramatic as the first 2...we gave up hits by the starter...a 5-2 win and all I can say about beisbol, a win is a win...who cares by how much...Blake Snell goes today for us...hot or cold, you never know...for you rabid Friar fans, the much awaited McKenzie Gore, got sent back to AAA...why they are awaiting his start up here, I dunno...anyhoo, he was marvelous, threw the rock at 94+...c'mon...

The Putin War...he is readjusting his aim...going east to attack next...named a new commander...this is a horrific man...that needs to be taken down...any which way...thus far, kind of a lull...what he doesn't know, it gives Ukraine time to reload, too...

His buddy, trump...let this beaut out at one of his revivals...talking about himself, like he always does "the most honest human being perhaps that God ever created."...

The Bums...who have assembled the best lineup in the recent history of the game...kind of reminds me of what the Lakers did...why on earth do they have Bellinger on the field?...he had a horrific year last season...had an even worse Cactus League...and has started 0 for 8 this time around...ah, what?...even if AJ ran this team, he would have benched the guy...

Very little NBA news right now...as they are in prep for their elongated playoff run...no Lakers or Blazers...in it...refreshing I reckon...sorry, PDX, but a huge change is needed...

Every day, and I do mean every day...a dude gets into the hot tub across the street...in the am, right around 7 am...and just sits in the water...how long does chorine or bromine work in the water?...it is STRANGE!...

Dr (?) Oz is running for the Senate in Pennsylvania...donny has given him his full endorsement...let's see, he knows nuttin about politics...his endorser, likewise...yup, perfection...similar to when Dr (?) Oz's daughter was part of the noon time cooking show, and she had no knowledge of cooking....see a similarity?...I digress...

A couple of shootings over the nite...deaths and all...ho hum, as we gather to celebrate something...'our thoughts and prayers go out _____'...

One of my favorite regular channel TV shows has been let go...'Dancing With The Stars'...you see, the problem with it...is they first fired their host, Tom Bergeron, who was magnificent...then, brought aboard a simply dreadful host, Tyra Banks...and the whole thing went downhill...she made it about her...lord...and now, Disney + is picking it up...my advice to them, GET RID OF BANKS!...

So...the Pope Francis...in his Palm Sunday Mass, is pushing for peace in Ukraine...think Putin gives a damn?...

He is alive and kicking...

Top of the morning, friends...as we embark on a shortish Cosmo trip (6+ hours) up north to see the kids. ..we try to see them every month or two....whatever works for us, and them...school has just started for them...and Cy has both football and soccer, he is playing...Cas, at 3, is still a wannabe... The distancing of trump with the public, was a bit weird, right?. ..he emerged and was talking the same...his appearance was a bit shaggy...he must have had the flu, or, well, Covid, or something...but, he is NOT DEAD....and still up to his shenanigans...same old...anything to bring up, to divert the people from hearing about the Epstein Files ...he unabashedly, called the whole thing a 'Democratic Hoax'... Hmmm...as 6 of the Survivors of it...(the Epstein Case) ...were talking, not only to the House....but, to the public, yesterday...as MTG was front and center with it...which, too, was odd...a fallout from trump?...or, a plant within the group?...no, trump, it is not a hoax.....

Hometown Baseball

You might think back to all the rivalries you have witnessed over the years...in high school, college, ah, well, team sports...shoot, could be choirs, math contests, and the like...BUT...the thrill of it all, is what I am talking about...I could name a hundred such things...that I recall...however, right now...there is one brewing in the Gaslamp...the Friars are hosting the Bums...believe it or not, this is new...you see, the Padres have been borderline pathetic for many seasons...not that they haven't had good ones...but, consistency has not been a virtue...things have changed...and the squad has deepened... The Bums have long had their nemesis, and or rivalry cat, as the San Francisco Giants...no mas...it is the Friars...the team that knocked them outta the playoffs last year...and here they come, to make avenge...3 games this weekend over at Petco...they have been playing super lately...really really super...the Pads?...hit and miss...my guess, is that the juices will flow for b...
